Hello to all my new friends that are here because of a photo of me knitting outside! The internet is a strange but still sometimes wonderful place! I’m so happy to have you here!
On to the joy! Here we go…
✿ The Bitterroot Pullover is officially in testing (though I’m still missing sizes 8 + 9, so if you’d like to hop in on that go HERE). This is my 3rd time hosting a test (who am I?), but maybe, perhaps, possibly I’m getting my feet under me??? (knocks on wood)
✿ Our CSA allows you to come pick extras, so the girls and I optimistically headed out into a sweltering heatwave to pick some strawberries. The sun quickly put us in our place, and we retreated for some shade and ice cream. Still 10/10.
✿ Finley decided to set up a stand at the end of our driveway to sell her art. Rion and I helped her set up, but also cautioned her that people might not be ready to make art purchases as they drive down the street. She made $26. To give you context, she was selling 4 different art pieces for a range of $.50-$1.00. The kindness of neighbors cannot be overvalued.
✿ The heat drove our family to a creek last week, which it often does, and I brought my knitting, which I often do. I feel firmly that doctors should prescribe this.
⋒ FUN, FUN ⋒
✿ Rion and I recently watched, “How to Get to Heaven from Belfast” on Netflix and WOW was that a wild ride! The perfect mix of funny and suspenseful. We watched the full season in an embarrassingly short amount of time.
✿ Enjoy this wonderful time lapse of a 100% wool shirt biodegrading (it’s a quick video)! Remember that most active wear is plastic, but it doesn’t need to be!
