↠test knit call↞, boundless determination, and camp knitting

The weather is exceptionally rainy here right now which means that I get to be cozy without any guilt. And that’s a peak feeling for me.

Another peak feeling is finishing the Bitterroot Pullover pattern! This one was a DOOZY! Each size has it’s own raglan shaping so that every body has a good fit, but that also means I had to create a gagillion (a very accurate number) charts. Pheww! What it means for you is that you’ll have a straight-forward pattern to knit, and you’ll end up with a garment that you actually love to wear, whether you’re a size 1 or a size 9! Hooray!

✿ Finley turned 8 last week and decided she wanted to get her ears pierced. This is coming from a child who has historically thrown hands when she has to get a shot. We went to a legit piercing studio to make sure it was done right, which means each ear is done separately instead of using a piercing gun and doing both at once. Her determination was boundless as was her joy afterward!

✿ Finley also requested to go camping for her birthday and we happily obliged. Of course, this meant I got to camp knit. Knitting outside might be one of my absolute favorite things to do. If I could only knit and camp for the rest of my life, I don’t think you’d find me complaining.
