Before we start, I know I left you hanging on Flagship Football. There will be at least one more installment on that fiasco. But life intervenes. And my annoyance at that release has morphed into a full-blown loathing.

So today I wanted to squeeze in a couple small breakdowns that may help someone make an actual decision.

Topps Chrome Sapphire MLB goes up for EQL tomorrow. For $650. 🙄

And Logofractor has been out for a minute, but we finally have odds and I can put some numbers behind my previous analysis.

So welcome to a puppy-cup-sized double dip of two products that will hopefully help restore my sanity after that journey through the skid row that is Flagship NFL.

Here was Logofractor Round 1 (pre-odds) if you missed it:

2026 Topps Chrome Logofractor & 2026 Topps Chrome MLB Fanatics Megas With Logofractors being live, yet still without odds, I wanted to call out what we do know about the product as there are many people still wondering if it makes sense. But first, I want to address the Topps

Since then, we have a completely as expected odds sheet that will not prompt me to change a single thing from my previous analysis. I’ll try not to injure my shoulder by patting myself squarely on the back here, but this one was nailed despite having no odds at the time.

Total cards in Logofractor:

  • 3,429,000

Of this, 2,057,400 will be additional Chrome base cards. This brings the total print run of Chrome base to:

~168,900 ea (Up from ~162,000 before Logofractor)

Total boxes produced:

  • 114,300 (5,715 cases)

2025 Logofractor:

  • 117,130 boxes

YOY -2.4%

Heat Map:

  • Boxes/Auto- 4.9

  • Autos/Case- 4.1

  • Inserts/Box- 2.35

  • Parallels/Box- 12 (This breaks down as 9.65 Base Logofractors, 2.35 Base Logofractor Inserts, 1.7 Numbered Parallels, & 0.3 Numbered Insert Parallels)

% of Numbered Autos: 63.43%

Value Map:

(Based on current market pricing of $175/box)

  • $/card- $5.83

  • $/parallel- $14.58

  • $/auto- $853.18

  • $/# card- $91.15

  • $/# auto- $1,344.97

  • $/quality hit- $247.52

What Would the Squatch Do?

I ordered some at drop pricing of $120, because I’m a sucker and I liked Logofractor in years past. At $120, these were a safe purchase. I’ll be ripping, but they would also flip for a marginal return. At $175, I can’t recommend.

As I have stated, Logofractor is not “back”. The deep rookie class and shorter Auto checklist make it considerably better than 2025, and a much safer rip than 2026 Topps Chrome.

All autos being rookies and a 300 card checklist worth of parallels ensure that it will remain a shell of past Logofractors unless they decide to shorten the checklist in the future. Which they won’t.

This is the new Logofractor whether we like it or not.

Print Runs:

  • Logofractor Base- ~2,970 ea

Logofractor Inserts:

  • Image Variations (50 card CL)- ~200 ea

  • 1991 Topps (30 card CL)- ~2,290 ea

  • Big Ticket Players (25 card CL)- ~2,290 ea

  • Perspectives (10 card CL)- ~2,290 ea

  • Wrecking Crew (25 card CL)- ~2,290 ea

Base Logofractor Autos (45 card CL)- ~200 ea

The Basics:

Sapphire goes up for EQL tomorrow, Wednesday August 26th for $650/box.

Keep in mind, these were $480/box in 2025 & $350/box in 2024.

Total Cards in Product:

  • 412,800

2025 Topps Chrome Sapphire- 334,000

YOY +23.6%

Total Boxes produced:

  • 12,900 (1,290 cases)

This is no longer a standard sized Sapphire release, which typically runs just over 1,000 cases. It turns out even Sapphire is not immune to the growth that we’ve been seeing in nearly every release.

Stated at 1 Auto/box, the math is showing slightly more at 1.05/box. This could mean that there are occasional boxes that contain an extra auto.

3.1 parallels/numbered cards per box

The only inserts pullable from the product are Image Variations, which fall 1 per 1.6 boxes. There are no non-auto Sapphire Selections or Infinite Inserts this time.

% of Autos which are numbered- 63.4%

  • $/card- $20.31

  • $/parallel- $216.67

  • $/auto- $617.95

  • $/# card- $210.08

  • $/# auto- $974.63

  • $/quality hit- $170.49

This one is tough. First, I see $650/box and how that has nearly doubled in two years, while dynamics have remained constant. This makes me want to rage quit.

Then I look at the checklist...a tight 34 rookie names on the auto checklist, half of which are actually good.

Oh, and 13 names on the Sapphire Selections auto checklist with some serious nuke potential. Judge, Ohtani, Cags, Trout, Elly...oh my. Though I find it strange that Alex Freeland and Harry Ford are also on this checklist.

It pains me to say I suppose there are worse products you can rip for $650. $170 per Quality Hit is actually not bad. Especially considering the upside. For me, this is the level where the joy of ripping starts to be overtaken by unnecessary stress. Definite high-risk, high-reward potential with this one.

And I’m sure it will settle on the market at $900+, so it will probably be stashable/flippable if you don’t mind a safe but meager return on all that investment. Personally, I would avoid that. If you want to YOLO and try for a nuke, I won’t judge. Remember, Signature Class NFL & NBA Jumbos were also in this price range and those were absolute train wrecks.

You could definitely acquire some cool Sapphire singles for the price of a box. But an Ohtani Sapphire auto certainly will not be in that range of outcomes for anywhere near $650.

One more tidbit...the new Hidden Gems look phenomenal. They are always one of my favorite inserts, and these are the best they’ve ever looked. They’re not on the odds sheet, but they have been pretty standard recently at print runs of ~50 ea on the base, with /10, /5, & 1/1 parallels.

Assuming this remains true, this would put odds at roughly:

  • 1:413 packs for the base, or 1 per 6.67 cases.

  • 1:2,064 packs for the /10, or 1 per 12.5 cases.

  • 1:4,128 packs for the /5, or 1 per 25.8 cases.

  • 1:20,640 packs for the 1/1, or 1 per 129 cases.

Print Runs:

  • Sapphire base- ~1,185 ea

  • Image Variations (50 card CL)- ~75 ea

  • Sapphire Selections Autos (13 card CL)- ~50 ea
