Daily Sketch: Pillow

Today’s Daily Sketch word prompt is PILLOW.

Most people don’t that before Gert was the main character in I Hate Fairyland, it was a grown up man. I’ll share more about that soon. That man had a sidekick that was not a fly named Larry. It was a pillow named…well, Pillow. Pillow wasn’t around very long because I realized it would be difficult to show them both in the same panel all the time because of the size difference and the pillow being confined to the ground. The guy became a little girl and the pillow became a fly that could be at eye level with the main character when needed. These are the little things you think about when trying to figure out how to make character talk to each other page after page and issue after issue.

I thought I'd doodle up a version of a sentient pillow for today’s prompt. I never got too far down the line with Pillow as a character would I can’t remember if I ever really landed on a design. But maybe this would be close.

Today’s song comes from a random I Hate Fairyland playlist I found on Spotify. I’m a fan of Girl Talk but haven’t heard this mix before.
