Happy Wednesday, friends!

I’m writing this from the comfort of my robe after what can only be described as an elite everything shower.

I started with a purifying face mask before hopping in the shower, and now I’m sitting here with a hydrating mask on my face while my hair soaks in this new hair mask I picked up. If this isn’t self-care, I don’t know what is.

I’ve also been trying to be consistent with one simple goal: actually using the drawer full of sheet masks I’ve somehow accumulated. I’m so guilty of saving them for “the perfect time,” when in reality, a random Sunday evening is the perfect time. Honestly, ANY day is the perfect time.

Gorgeous. I know.

If I don’t have time for a full sheet mask, I’ve been reaching for the Biodance Collagen Gel Toner Pads instead. They’re incredibly hydrating and so easy to throw on while I’m doing other things. (I just apply them to the areas I want more hydration and let them sit on that area for a bit)

Now I’m exfoliated, lotioned up, and about to blow dry my hair! Speaking of hair….

I’ve been obsessed with the Crown Affair x ILIA hair towel. If your hair holds as much water as mine does, you need this thing. It cuts down on drying time so much, and I genuinely think it’s one of those underrated beauty products that deserves more attention.

Let’s get into it….

I also remembered something very important this weekend:

I’m an adult. I can make my own decisions. And one of those decisions was not fighting the Costco crowds on a Sunday. So I had my Costco order delivered.

I even had a $20 off promotion, so I felt like I could justify it. But after seeing how much time it saved me, I think I’d happily do it again. (I believe with my executive membership, if you spend a certain amount for same day delivery, you get a $10 credit.)

Instead of spending half my afternoon navigating Costco, loading everything into the car, unloading it at home, and wondering why I did this to myself...I clicked a few buttons and everything showed up at my front door.

Life-changing.

Now we’re stocked up on all the essentials and ready for the week ahead.

Speaking of...

Here’s everything that I picked up this week:

  • I stocked up on grass-fed beef, some filets, and organic chicken

  • I needed more Olive Oil and Cooking Spray

  • We like the Real Good Foods Chicken Strips with Sweet Potato Fries (Air Fry always)

  • I LOVE a Chomps stick, but these Kirklands Grass-Fed Sticks are honestly so good and a lot cheaper! My husband prefers these. I picked up two packages.

  • I got a rotisserie chicken to use for a protein buffalo wrap for lunches

  • The Smash Foods Jammy Bits are pretty good! I kept seeing them on social media and decided to try them. I don’t know if I’d buy them again, but I don’t hate them.

  • The Lactose-Free milk is a dupe for Fairlife I believe?

  • I could eat Goodles everyday.

  • I prep veggies and fruit and have them ready. I also make a big batch of veggie dip.

  • The Unreal Variety Pack is SO GOOD. It’s a perfect small sweet treat without all of the extra sugar.

If you’re nosey like I am, I LOVE to see grocery hauls?!??!

    Costco Haul
    More items
    And lastly....

I started Yes, Chef by Grace Reilly and I’m already about 50% into it.

We’ve got grumpy/sunshine. Forced proximity.

Need I say more?

It’s one of those books that hooked me immediately, and every time I put it down, I want to pick it right back up. I’ll report back once I finish, but so far, I’m having a lot of fun with this one.

Can we talk about jeans for a second?

I swear they are the one clothing item that consistently humbles me.

I’m 5’5”, I have a butt, a stomach, and “athletic” thighs, and apparently every brand assumes my legs are about six inches longer than they actually are.

So...I’m on a mission to find THE jean for fall. I’m starting early.

Here’s what I’m trying:

The goal? Finding jeans that actually fit without needing a tailor, don’t gap at the waist, and don’t make me choose between fitting my thighs or buttoning the waistband.

If you’ve already solved this mystery, please tell me your favorite brand. Bonus points if you’re petite (or petite-ish), curvy, and understand the struggle.

Save me from ordering another four pairs. I hate the return process so much.

House of Dragon

My husband and I just finished watching the latest season of House of the Dragon.

Guys...This season was SO good. Stressful? Absolutely.

I can’t believe we have to wait until 2028 for season 4, which will also be its last!

The Five-Star Weekend

I also finally started The Five-Star Weekend on Peacock. I absolutely loved the book, so I couldn’t wait to see how they adapted it. So far, I’m really enjoying it. I also saw they renewed it for a season 2. I’m curious how that will go….

I’ve also been hearing so much about Sterling Point on Prime, and I think that’s next on my watch list.

Tell me...what are you watching right now? I always end up finding my next obsession from your recommendations.

Costco delivery. An elite decision on my part. (Be sure to tip generously!!)

Goodles. They remind me of the boxed mac and cheese I grew up eating, but with a little nutritional glow-up.

An iced cold brew on a hot Georgia afternoon. Nothing hits quite like it. (Besides a cripsy Diet Coke!)

Talking to my niece and nephew. It’s hard being an out-of-town Aunt!

This lip pencil. It’s quietly become one of those products I reach for almost every single day. It’s so good.

Sheet masks. I’m finally using the stash I’ve accumulated and my skin is very happy about it.

I hope you have a wonderful week ahead. Thank you, as always, for spending a little part of your day with me.

Until next time,
