I am going to share something wild with you that I think every purpose-driven entrepreneur should hear:

My original big vision for my business has not changed dramatically in over 15 years.

What do I mean by that?

I mean that when I started, I had a vision for what I wanted to create. It was crystal clear, and it felt like it came from an inspired place—almost like a soul mission.

Over the years, however, I have gone back and forth between this soul-centered, inspired vision and a more rational approach.

And you know what happened?

I would always come back to the same vision, abandoning my rational approach.

So what have I learned?

I have learned that if you feel strongly about something—so strongly that it lights you up and feels like what you are meant to do—listen to it.

Even if you don’t yet know how you are going to get there.

Yes, you need to be practical and pragmatic to turn it into a business, but make sure it’s aligned.

What does this mean?

It means:

Think AND feel what actions align.

Don’t compromise on your mission, but be flexible about the path to get there.

Believe. Believe. Believe. Believe.
