Good morning premium subscribers, today is Thursday, August 20 — National Radio Day! I first did radio weather forecasts as a student at Penn State in the late ‘80s, and I could not have imagined the podcast levels of today (yes — even I have a daily weather brief in the podcast space — link to it on Apple or Spotify).
What’s changed since yesterday morning’s forecast: This morning’s data is suggesting a spell of particularly heavy thunderstorms for a few hours on Friday night. Still a lot of uncertainties, so I would not change any plans — at least not yet.
