Good morning premium subscribers, today is Friday, August 21 — National Fantasy Football Draft Day. As much as I love football, I could never get into the Fantasy Football thing.
What’s changed since yesterday morning’s forecast: Humidity is lower this morning, cutting down the chance of rain dramatically today — at least through the daylight hours.
The top points for Richmond this morning:
Storm review: There was a large range in rain totals across the metro area from yesterday evening’s storm. Most had between a tenth and a quarter inch, but more than an inch fell along Hull Street Road from Woodlake to Genito Road — 1.52” was measured near the entrance to Brandermill. Conversely, less than a tenth of an inch fell in Bon Air, Lakeside, and Varina. By the way, Metro Richmond is no longer in a drought.
