The TV is old and cannot be adjusted; there is no way to have the TV display correctly using the HDMI input from the PC. I am wondering how to shrink the Ubuntu display. I've been able to determine that it uses something called "Wayland," so "xrandr" commands don't work. I am using the TV as the primary and ideally sole display.
