Caramelized Banana Pudding Trifle

This is the banana pudding you need to make before summer is over! We love a good banana pudding—cold, creamy, and somehow rich yet light at the same time. I also love a trifle! Custard, cake, whipped cream, and something syrupy for the cake to soak up is one of my top desserts (but you all know I love a cake, whipped cream, and fruit moment if you have any of my cookbooks!)

This dessert brings both loves together in one very delicious dessert that feels classy enough for a summer dinner party yet comforting, nostalgic, and fuss-free.

This does have a few different components, but you will see how I adapted each one to make the steps uncomplicated while still resulting in an impressive finished dessert. I’ll walk you through each element of the trifle and what you can prep ahead.
