Off-Road Roundup: June 22, 2026

1. Cricut kicks off their Summer Sales Event with deep discounts on essentials, blanks, and vinyl. A few things that caught my eye are:

   • Up to 50% off Cutting Mats

   • Sampler Bundles of Iron-on Glitter - each has three sheets for $9.74 (check out Glam Squad, Jewel, and Sangria). These are fantastic for adding sparkle to your machine embroidery appliques!

   • I haven’t tried Cricut’s Faux Suede yet, but the review pictures look promising that you can use this for making small bags, zipper pouches, tags, and more! This bundle has five sheets on sale for $7.99, so I’m adding this to my cart to try it!

   3. While we’re on the subject of quilted ghosts, anyone who loves children’s books needs to add The Little Ghost Who Was a Quilt (affiliate link) to their collection immediately. The illustrations are gorgeous, the message is important, and it’s a great way to help youngsters appreciate the work and love that goes into a quilt made just for them.

   The hardcover version is on sale for $8.89 (normally $18.99).

   

   
   4. A few other deals I spotted on Amazon:

   • This 36-drawer Iris storage cabinet is only $34.99, normally $43.99. I love using the mini drawers to organize all my notions, embellishments, buttons, and whatnot, plus I rarely see these discounted more than 10%. This is a great deal and product for keeping your craft supplies organized.
     

     

   • Sharpie Clear View Stick Highlighters are 48% off at $9.49. Real talk: I don’t know if these are necessarily better than other highlighters you’ll find out there, but I love them because they are fun to use. I highly recommend them to any other stationery/office supply fans 😂
     

5. My friend Terri at Terri’s Embroidery on Etsy is having a big sale right now on Glide thread kits and some older Kimberbell products. Definitely worth checking out if thread kits are on your wishlist!
   

I have been having a lot of fun with the fabrics from Riley Blake’s Firework Fields line lately. I found the 10” stacker on sale for only $30.79 (normally $43.98) at Inspire! Quilting and Sewing. They also have some great yardage deals on their website right now.

7. The Fat Quarter Shop is celebrating their 23rd birthday this week! I’m seeing some good deals on Fat Quarter Bundles on their website. If I were you, I’d keep an eye on FQS’s daily deals this week - I don’t have any insider information, but my guess is the promos are just getting started.

8. Finally, it’s not too late to make a patriotic project for the 4th of July! This week’s free pattern is the Stars & Stripes pillow and table runner from Amy Smart, AKA Diary of a Quilter. The link has printable instructions and a step-by-step video walking you through how to make these projects.
