Cassie Smith · Crafting & Quilting Deals

Good morning, gorgeous!

What can I say? I love a good deal! Here are my picks for the best deals on the internet this week:

(Please note… the deals and prices in this newsletter are accurate at the time of sending, but are subject to change at any time. Some of the links in this newsletter are affiliate links, which means I may earn a commission from qualifying purchases).

Machine embroidery enthusiasts, listen up because this deal is for YOU! Parker on the Porch is kicking off summer with a vault sale, which means Jen’s retired designs are available AND half off until July 6th.

I love, love, love POP’s zipper pouches and there are so many good ones in the sale. Some of them are particularly magical, if you get what I’m saying 😉

These zipper pouch designs are on sale for $12 || Photo: Parker on the Porch
And this sweet little bunny zipper pouch? Only $5 || Photo: Parker on the Porch
  1. So, now that you’ve stocked up on cute zipper pouch patterns, you’re going to need some zippers. Lucky for us, Amazon has this 48-pack of multicolored nylon zippers on sale for $5.99 (affiliate link).

Nylon zippers are essential for machine embroidery because they are less likely to damage your machine than their metal counterparts. The zippers in this deal are loooong (coming in at 22 inches), so you’ll be able to trim them to be the exact right size for your projects.

Also on Amazon, I am intrigued by these sock hoops - I haven’t tried them before, but I have been seeing a lot of videos about them lately and they seem to be useful. This set is on sale for $10.48 when you use the coupon (affiliate link).

  1. Last week, I asked everyone on the livestream what kinds of deals you wanted me to look for. A lot of you asked for notions, so Vanessa at Granny’s Fabric House was so kind as to offer Off-Road Craft Co. subscribers 20% off notions on her website.

Visit grannysfabrichouse.com, click the shop tab, and enter OFFROAD20 at checkout!

A couple of things that catch my eye are this Famore embroidery scissors kit (isn’t the black so classy??) and my favorite Kati Cupcake labels 🩷

  2. Calling all batik lovers! It looks like YLI Threads (stands for You’ll Love It, which is true!) just added a bunch of bright, happy batiks to their stashbuster section for $7/yard.

That little green succulent one in the corner is calling my name!

  3. Want to squeeze in one more patriotic project? Annie’s Attic has some winners at really good discounts!

I mean, look at this patriotic potholder kit (comes with the pattern and fabric to make 4 potholders!) for $23.99, normally $39.99.

I’m also really digging this 10” stacker from Maywood Studio - you could make such a fun quilt for fireworks and summer nights with these prints! It’s on sale for $32.99, normally $54.99.

Looking for something a bit more analog to take on a roadtrip or camping? May I suggest the Cozy Stitches Embroidery Book or this darling adult coloring book!
(Psst: I recommend these Ohuhu alcohol markers on Amazon if you end up getting the coloring book - affiliate link).

  5. This week’s free design is the Easy Sleeveless Doll Dress from Orange Betty. Long story short (which you can find on my Facebook page), I’m seeing myself making a lot of American Girl Doll clothes in the future. This pattern is one of my favorites and I love how it makes a full outfit from a fat quarter!

Thanks for subscribing to my newsletter! Don’t forget, you can also catch the Roundup Livestream, happening on Mondays at 10:00 a.m. Mountain Time on my Facebook and YouTube pages. Please follow so you don’t miss an episode!

Now, go forth, be brilliant, and make things!

Xo, Cassie
