Cassie Smith · Crafting & Quilting Deals

Hey there, Gorgeous!

I hope life is treating you kindly this week. I’ve got some fun finds to share, so let’s get into it:

(Please note… the deals and prices in this newsletter are accurate at the time of sending, but are subject to change at any time. Some of the links in this newsletter are affiliate links, which means I may earn a commission from qualifying purchases).

1. Do you have a Baby Lock or Brother embroidery machine and want to make quilting an absolute breeze? OESD has three sizes of Snap Hoop Monsters magnetic hoops discounted to 30% off in their virtual warehouse sale (8x8”, 9.5x9.5”, and 7x12”).

Here’s why this is a big deal: I have used every type of magnetic hoop on the market and these are hands down the best.

In fact, when I worked at one of OESD’s biggest competitors, we used Snap Hoop Monsters on all of our background quilting projects because there’s really nothing like them. I have literally been watching for these to go on sale for three years and I have NEVER seen prices like this (even used on eBay). If one of those hoops is compatible with your machine, it will change your life! Seriously!

It looks like other brands and sizes are also discounted, but not as deeply as those three Baby Lock/Brother-compatible sizes.

The OESD virtual warehouse sale goes through Thursday night, so act fast!

3. Houston, we have a problem…. this drawstring NASA backpack kit is too stinkin’ cute. On sale for $19.97 (normally $24.97), this kit includes the pre-printed canvas panel and paracord to make an absolutely out-of-this-world bag.

I like how the patches are printed right on the fabric so you don’t have to worry about stitching around them, or having them peel off when your little astronaut takes it on a particularly adventurous mission. This alternate design is available for the same price and is also a lot of fun!

And these kits are the whole enchilada - you get a paper pattern plus the outer material, lining fabric, zippers, interfacing, foam, and all needed hardware.

5. I feel like I need to apologize to your bank accounts before showing you this next one…. Sewing Parts Online has moved a TON of Art Gallery Fabrics yardage to the clearance section. And by a ton, I mean 400+ different prints, and a good chunk are coming in at under $8/yard.

I’m seeing newer collections, older collections, florals, geometrics, holiday designs, and everything in between. Treat yourself to a browse, and don’t be surprised when your cart is as full as mine with all of these amazing patterns.

6. I’ve been looking for a gift for a quilty friend of mine, and when I stumbled across this darling Etsy shop, I knew I had to share!

Check out these personalized quilt clappers, on sale for 20% off through the end of the month!

The smaller sizes work out to be under or around $30, and I’m obsessed with how these are the perfect blend of practical and nostalgic.

7. Last but certainly not least, this week’s free pattern is Sew She Can’s Pocket Pod Basket. I’m picturing making a couple of these in a fun colorway and using them to organize my pens, pencils, and other office supplies!

That’s all for today, folks! I hope you have an incredible week and that your bobbin is always full. As a friendly reminder, my live show on Facebook and YouTube is on hiatus for a few weeks, so you’ll want to make sure you’re following those pages so you don’t miss it when it comes back! I have a lot of fun things in the works and cannot wait to share them with you.

Thank you for subscribing to my newsletter and being the best part of the internet. I’ll have more deals for you next week! Until then, go forth, be brilliant, and make things 🩷

Xo, Cassie
