Cassie Smith · Crafting & Quilting Deals

Hi there, Gorgeous!

Your weekly excuse to buy more craft supplies has arrived. Here’s what caught my eye this week:

(Please note… the deals and prices in this newsletter are accurate at the time of sending, but are subject to change at any time. Some of the links in this newsletter are affiliate links, which means I may earn a commission from qualifying purchases).

  1. AccuQuilt is closing out the summer with big discounts in their clearance section. This particular sale has been going on for a minute, but they recently added more to it, like this Four Seasons GO! Die Bundle for $165.00 (normally $330.95).

My favorite is the flip-flops in the Summer Medley, but I can also see myself getting a lot of use out of the Fall shapes.

Also…. if you like to use starch when you’re quilting, these 32 oz bottles of June Tailor’s Quilter’s Starch Savvy are only $3.20 (normally $15.99 😱).

  2. Do I have any knitters in the house? Stash Fabrics has a slew of Knitter’s Pride Dreamz Circular Knitting Needles on sale for $5.90.

They’re also kicking off a big August Clearance Event (I’m seeing a ton of cute fabrics in the 50% off section, specifically!)

  3. Project kits? Yes please! Missouri Star has some darling kits 25-50% off. I’m seeing piecing, panels, punch needle, hand embroidery, and more - I feel like some of these kits could be a good way to learn some new skills.

Here’s the question I’m asking myself: do I love this English Paper Piecing Beginner Kit because I want to get into EPP or because I think the bag it comes in would make the cutest lunch box?? 😂

  4. Y’all know I’m a sucker for quilt labels, so I am loving what I’m seeing in the Summer Sale at Sarah Hearts.

If you want to add the perfect finishing touch to your projects, the sale pricing makes the labels less than a dollar per tag. There are also buttons, zipper pulls, barrettes and other quilty little gifts!

  5. Ok, what do Wonder Woman, Scooby Doo, and Harry Potter all have in common? How about the fact that their licensed designs are 50% off at OESD (plus their other Warner Brothers friends)?!?!

When you check out that link, be sure to click on the items themselves - there were a lot of things that I thought were only one machine embroidery design, but when I clicked on it, it was actually a whole bundle of coordinating designs! These would be SEW. MUCH. FUN. for back-to-school projects!

I mean, imagine this Superhero To-Do List on a tiny backpack! Or maybe a Gilmore Girls detail on a fast-talking, coffee-loving college gal’s sweatshirt. And don’t get me started on everything you can do with the Elf collection!

Wait… I’ve got it: literally anything with Where the Wild Things Are. Let the Wild Rumpus start!!

The sale goes from now until 8/20, so don’t miss out!

  6. If you’re willing to look through the search results, you are very likely to find some treasures at deep discounts!

    7. This week’s free pattern is another quilt-along with several talented designers and Aurifil thread. If you sign up before August 20th (which is coming up quick), you will get nine free paper piecing patterns so you can make The Sewing Room.

I’m not usually big on paper piecing (I don’t have the patience for all the fiddly bits, hahaha), but I am making an exception for this one - look how fun!

So, those are our deals for this week! I’ll have more next week, so make sure you are subscribed to this newsletter (and staying up-to-date on Facebook and YouTube).

Hope you have a great rest of your week - go forth, be brilliant, and make things!

    Xo, Cassie
