I’m not going to lie I didn’t even realize it was Friday and thus newsletter day until a few minutes ago before starting to write this post. But here we are!
There’s not a lot of updates except that episode 13 was released on wednesday and I actually promoted the story on social media.

Besides that I don’t have much Misfit news exceeeeept
For those of you who know me and have been tracking with me for awhile with the misfits you may remember that a couple months ago I was praying fervently asking the Lord how long was this book going to be, and the number 50 constantly kept popping up in my head. I didn’t know if it was going to be exactly 50 or around 50 but it was something with 50.
Well I now know it’s not exactly 50 chapters, but I do know that chapter 50 is a very pivotal one, and I understand why God highlighted it to me.
Without major spoilers, what I will say is after this chapter, the Misfits truly will never be the same. It might not be the end of the book, but it is the end of these characters as we’ll know them at that point. The transformation almost all of them go through in this chapter is a foundation for how they will be and grow for the rest of the series. It’s something very special.
With all that being said, the end is very near and I do mean veeeeeeeery near. I’m counting the in-story days before the end of book one and chapter 50 marks T-minus 7 days and chapter 51 will probably mark T-minus 5-3 days. so when I say very near I reaaaaaaally do mean veeeeeery neaaaaaaar *internal screams*
With all that being said, I am praying about whether or not I should put the whole book on kindle vella before releasing it in print format. right now, I’m leaning more toward yes, but I am not making a final decision until I am fully at peace and in one accord with my Lord.
As the wisest man to ever live once said: “A person’s heart plans his way, but the Lord determines his steps.”
