a collection of thoughts that don't always make it to conversations

I wanted a place to write about things I find interesting, however large or small. Often these thoughts remained scattered in my brain until the right conversation arose, and I wanted somewhere to put them all, so here we are.

I expect this blog to be a somewhat random assortment of topics, some that might have involved hours of musing and some that might have involved days, weeks, or months. Some posts might pique your interest and some might not.

This arbitrary topic selection gets killed by recommendation algorithms. An audience expects consistent content - gaming channels need gameplay, book channels need to talk about books, startup founders need to talk about how they’re using AI, etc… This makes sense from a content consumer standpoint, but can feel pigeonholing from the creative one.

So feel free to jump in and out of the posts as you fancy. If you’d like to get my musing emailed to you, Substack also has a subscription feature (which I’ve tried to stop from appearing 20 times on the same page but honestly this UI is quite confusing).

In a time where everyone on the Internet is constantly vying for a second of your attention span, thank you for reading and I hope you find some value in reading my musing.
