Should I get the new mRNA flu shot this year?

I’ve been fielding some questions about the newly approved mRNA flu shots from Moderna that are due out any day now. I’m honored when my patients value my opinion, I’m excited by mutual curiosity, and honestly, I’m quite thrilled when anyone still wants vaccines after all the shenanigans. It’s called mFLUSIVA (aka mRNA-1010), and it’s made by Moderna. It’s the first FDA-approved mRNA flu vaccine in the U.S.
