This one’s going to be brief!
I’ve set some goals for myself over these next months, and in order to focus on them, I’m stepping away from social media more or less entirely until I have adjusted to the rhythm of my life, and have seen tangible progress. So far, it’s been a relief in many ways. My days are very busy, and not being sucked into social media has helped me preserve precious energy and brain space, as well as alleviating some anxiety and stress.
We recently went to a u-pick place for a flat of strawberries and a couple mason jars of flowers. I must be honest that I have a hard time resisting fresh flowers or live plants in my home. It’s a small form of self-indulgence that I tell myself is healthier than mochi donuts or milk tea with boba.
