There are thousands of blogs about artificial intelligence. Almost all of them are in English.
Almost all of them are written for engineers, researchers, or Silicon Valley insiders.
When I launched blog.marcobena.eu, I had one clear conviction: AI is transforming communication, media, and creative work and nobody was explaining it in French, in plain language, for professionals who didn’t study computer science.
Thirty years in communication. Radio, television, international media agencies, digital strategy. Clients across France and Switzerland. And for the past few years, a deep daily immersion in applied AI: tools, governance, editorial impact, organizational change.
This blog is not a news aggregator. It’s not a technical tutorial. It’s a space for reflection, aimed at professionals who want to understand what’s actually happening, without drowning in acronyms, without being swept up in the hype, without losing sight of the obvious: AI is a tool. We decide what we do with it.
Each article starts from a concrete question. How does a communication agency integrate AI into its editorial workflow? What does AI governance really mean for organizations? Which content creators are adapting well, and why? I share my perspective. I give real examples. I don’t pretend to have all the answers.
What the French-speaking professional world was missing was a voice that is both in the field and in the conversation. Not an academic cut off from the market. Not a salesperson disguised as an expert. Someone who works with these tools every day, sees their limits as clearly as their potential, and takes the time to explain them honestly.
That’s what I try to be.
If you work in communication, marketing, media, or organizational management, and you want an AI compass that doesn’t talk down to you, you’re in the right place.
