Sun salutations and a standing flow!
It’s been a few days since I wrote, but I’ve still been doing my daily practices.*
I have an anxious mind today and even my yoga practice couldn’t help me find any calm or sense of quiet.* It’s one of those days where I feel lost, uncertain and constantly on edge waiting for something to happen.
Today was nearly day two of failure!* Yesterday, I didn’t make it through my meditation before I fell asleep, I nearly write today off as too busy, as well.
I think yesterday was my first fail!* I planned to meditate before bed… and I fell asleep.
Beltane is a seasonal festival traditionally celebrated at the start of May, marking the height of Spring and the turning towards Summer.
Following on from yesterday, I decided to stay with the Get Fit and Healthy programme, with class two.* This was a 30-minute ladder flow with quick transitions from one end of the mat to the other.
I felt full of energy today so I chose a “supercharge your energy” vinyasa class - which turned out to be the first in a six-part series called Get Fit and Healthy.

A quick and fiery flow to Garudasana
Well, well, well… I didn’t realise that today’s practice would be all about Half Moon - a coincidence because I’ve just been editing my monthly magazine featuring an article on Ardha Chandrasana.*
