Free Dungeon

First thing first: LOOP ‘N’ LOOT FIRST MODULE GETS KICKSTARTED IN A COUPLE OF DAYS, REGISTER HERE TO BE NOTIFIED WHEN IT LAUNCHES! And, side note, please pledge early if you can, it helps a lot with the project’s visibility on the platform.

If we summarise the last couple of weeks:

• you got free print & play material,

• you will get a setting zine (in about 2-3 months),

• you will get the free quickstart rules in a couple of days (link in the zine kickstarter).

The only thing that would be missing to play Loop ‘n’ Loot is an actual dungeon of some sort, with monsters that have Loop ‘n’ Loot stats block. If only someone had written that already…

Tomb of the Chicken Kings is a hack of Skerples’ Tomb of the Serpent Kings. Don’t worry, everything is legal, the original dungeon is under Creative Common licence, and every original creators are credited.

Tomb of the Chicken Kings revamps the original idea but keeps the same motto: teach new players how to play. TotCK gives tips to new Croupiers on how to run the Loop ‘n’ Loot system: when to ask for a test, which difficulty, under which attributes, when to give loot, how much damage traps do, and so on. Every tip is clearly labelled.

The whole dungeon comes with the original monsters but their attributes and traits have been tweaked to fit the Loop ‘n’ Loot system (same with the original items).
