I always say that cruising is a ministry for me. I love preaching the histories and virtues of face-to-face connection. I also am still madly in love with New Orleans and its vibrant Queer history.
So when the folks at Sniffies asked for my help with a cruising history event in a church to kick off Southern Decadence, and I got to work with the brilliant pillar of nightlife Brett LaBauve, and I got to interview some of my amazing neighbors, it was a no-brainer to jump on.
