If House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries is meeting in secret with Kushner about Democratic-MAGA “cooperation,” meaning with Trump who IS MAGA, after Democrats win the House back, that means he’s likely already made a corrupt quid pro quo deal to take impeachment off the table in exchange for something. Otherwise there could never even have been a discussion of their cooperating.
That’s what this f**king meeting means.
Immediately after the election in November of 2024, we posted the article linked below on Jeffries, both on Substack and Facebook, titled “Tripping Without Mushrooms...Is House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries High, Delusional, Or Just Reading Off A Corporate-written Script?” It was written in response to a speech Jeffries delivered at an Ohio State gathering organized by his brother, a professor there. My response to what I read was an hour of fighting back the urge to vomit.
My wife Martha and I have tried to puncture the bubble of delusion and denial afflicting many Democrats, who simply do not want to see the degree of collusion, backroom dealing, corruption, and utter vacancy of leadership in the Democratic Party which enabled the Trump monstrosity to return to power.
Instead we were told we were divisive, radical, and politically stupid for not recognizing that the 2024 election result meant that Democratic voters were moving toward the right, and that if we want to win elections we needed to move rightward with them.
Are you shocked at the news that Jeffries held secret meetings with Jared Kushner to discuss “cooperation” between Trump and the Democrats starting AFTER the Democrats win back the House? I’m not. There is no word other than betrayal which is appropriate.
I’m angry, but not shocked. However for some folks this is a gutpunch, like finding out that your home was robbed with the help of a drug addicted family member who left the door unlocked in order to let them in, in exchange for a cut of the loot.
Supposedly they discussed issues where there might be common ground, like “housing and affordability.” First of all this is a pathetic attempt to throw up a smokescreen. Secondly I had to laugh out loud at the irony of having a meeting to discuss affordable housing with one of the nation's worst slumlords, whose real estate swindling family has a rap sheet with crimes piled higher than Trump's Depends. Imagine wanting to engage in discussion about cooperation with Trump on this, when he and his family were also infamous for not only being slumlords, but were among the most discriminatory landlords in US history north of the Mason-Dixon line. It would be the equivalent of Adolf Eichmann wanting to meet with the Hadassah ladies to discuss a fundraiser to plant trees in Israel.
But of course the people putting out these stories think that we are all morons, or don't care enough to rub two braincells together in order to think about it.
Affordable housing, Kushner? JFC.
I think that if Orwell were living he would feel guilty about his accidentally training a new generation of Big Brothers in "New Speak."
I told everyone Jeffries would sell us out nearly two years ago. How did I know, you are asking? Because Jeffries announced it in public, that’s how. I quoted him saying what he would do. There is no hyperbole here at all.
Now you know. You know who is the actual one dividing the Democrats.
You know who is the one that repeatedly, in the face of every Trump administration atrocity, threw up his hands and said “we can’t do anything because we have no leverage,” and why. Just like his partner Chuck Schumer flew the white flag every day with his “strongly worded letters,” and why those who wanted to stand and fight had their legs cut out from under them by both working in tandem. Both are Wall Street shills. Both are defenders of Israeli warmongering and ethnic cleansing, the reason they are AIPAC-funded candidates. Both agreed to compromise on draconian budget cuts demanded by Trump. Both are chasing so-called liberal billionaires for money while stiff-arming the working class activist base and younger voters, and attempting to purge anti-establishment Democrats who refuse to accept corporate money.
You now know why Jeffries campaigned against Democratic candidates critical of Israel who opposed the illegal war against Iran which the Netanyahu regime dragged us into. (which Kushner himself set into motion by lying about their nuclear program) If I were Democratic Minority Leader, I would invite Kushner to a meeting and send INTERPOL in my place to have him arrested and sent to the f**king Hague for trial, figuratively speaking.
Now you know why Democratic and progressive political leaders who called for Trump’s impeachment were undermined. Why the same Democrats such as AOC were told to stop using the word “oligarchy” when they toured the country to mobilize Americans to resist Trump. Why Jeffries voted with the Republicans to censure fellow Black Caucus member Democratic Congressman Al Green (an impeachment bill initiator) for calling out Trump’s crimes at the State Of The Union speech.
You should all finally know why the Democratic leadership has flatly rejected Medicare For All. Because Jeffries, the Democratic Minority Leader, is discussing cooperation with a regime which wants to literally do away with millions of lives by gutting the health care system and tearing out the social safety net.
You now know what we knew years ago, and tried to warn about. We called for a leadership overhaul after the failure of 2024. Kamala Harris lost because DNC corporate whores following Jeffries’s lead cut out the hearts of the Democratic activist base with their immoral triangulation and “centrism,” and now they are preparing to negotiate away our midterm victories before the vote is even cast.
Who among you wants our party to cooperate with Trump? Who in their right minds, knowing what Kushner is and what he has done would even take a meeting with him? Who believes that Trump or Kushner are at all trustworthy to honor any agreement to cooperate on anything? And by extension, which of all of the dupes out there believes that Jeffries will allow a House impeachment bill to reach the floor, given his now documented history of friendship and dealmaking in the course of multiple such secret meetings with Kushner?
What kind of an incompetent corrupt tool expresses willingness to cooperate with a regime which is threatening to take over, run, overturn, or cancel elections?
Now, for those still immersed in their own pile of disbelieving self-gaslighting rituals, you can prove this to yourselves, by simply demanding now that Jeffries publicly commit to impeaching Trump once we win the majorities. Ask him that question to his face everywhere he goes. Ask Chuck Schumer the same question. And the sound you hear will be the sound of all of us being shafted right up the wazoo.
If you don’t believe Trump’s impeachment is warranted, you don’t belong here. If you do, you need to ask Hakeem Jeffries whether he will or won’t do it, and why. That is a fairly uncomplicated question, is it not?
Some will say, “don’t bring this up now, it’s divisive, we need to focus on electing Democrats.” Well, I insist on getting an answer from those folks. “Is meeting with Jared Kushner to discuss cooperation with Trump after we defeat them going to motivate anti-Trump voters to turn out and vote for Democrats? Is that what the so-called leadership is working on? Of course not, which is why they met in secret. Now it’s out. “Oh, but we shouldn’t even mention it,” say the experts in the peanut gallery.
One might also ask, are we better off by electing more handpicked “purple” Fettermans claiming to be Democrats when their plan amounts to enabling the regime through cooperation with them? And what would we ever expect in the way of compromises coming from a fascist party of cultists led by an accused pedophile enabler whose main campaign issue is to forcibly deport 20 million people, a Nuremberg crime?
Is that what victory in November is supposed to look like? Cooperation with that? Not to me, not one bit.
We need to stop lying to ourselves. A Democratic leadership overhaul is long overdue, and that before these betrayers of our trust throw the midterms, and blow 2028, because that is what they are in the process of doing.
The German Social Democrats failed to contain Hitler in exactly the same way. Many sought cooperation with him, even echoed some of his anti-communist talking points and had their paramilitaries fighting against the CP in the streets alongside the Nazis. This despite Hitler’s sworn promise to annihilate all of them. They assumed he’d be voted out in the next election and decided Hitler should be allowed to govern because he would discredit himself and his party, rather than obstructing them, and that the Social Democrats would then run the table the next year. <That of course was the election which never happened.>
History is repeating, rhyming, recycling, and crawling right the f**k out of the grave and telling us to change course while there is still time.
If Jeffries and Schumer are still in their current roles next year, then I’ll renounce and leave the Democratic Party after 50 years of political campaigns, operations, and voting that way, and then go my own way.
I. Don’t. Cooperate. With. Nazis. No one should.
