Introduction--
The coming midterm elections are going to be a bloody affair.
Nothing about them will go smoothly. The results will be contested in virtually every race which Democratic candidates win. There are a wide variety of operations planned which will be run through the courts, coupled with moves to disrupt the voter tallies, and likely attempts at the seizure and destruction of ballots, this all in the aftermath of a nationwide terror campaign of voter suppression, intimidation, and obstruction, leading up to election day at the polls.
Depending on the final results, (with the high probability of the Democrats retaking the House and even odds on the Senate) Trump’s puppet House Speaker Mike Johnson will take all requisite measures in order to suspend Congress to prevent the swearing in of newly elected Democrats. Johnson himself telegraphed his intentions at a GOP retreat where he promised to be their “protection” from Democrats who he claimed are planning to impeach Trump and/or put them on trial.
Trump has repeatedly broadcast that using ICE at the polls is part of his plan to overturn results which go against candidates running with his fascist loyalty cult. Trump confidants such as Steve Bannon are screaming it from the rooftops. The newly confirmed Attorney General, Trump’s personal lawyer Todd Blanche, stated in response to a question about it at a public conference, “Why is there objection to sending ICE officers to polling places? Illegals can’t vote. It doesn’t make any sense.”
What doesn’t make sense of course is that Trump has created a cult following based around the ‘Big Lie’ that Democrats can only win elections by importing illegal aliens to vote for them, despite there being no substantial proof of this happening anywhere, ever. We are also well aware that Blanche has been engaged in a years long cover-up for his client regarding the Epstein espionage/pedophile network and is so compromised himself that he will do only what Trump tells him to do in this regard.
Only last week Blanche announced that he is deploying 1000 DOJ “election monitors” to the polls that day. He said very little about who the DOJ monitors will be, or how they will be selected. Are they FBI agents, Federal investigators, deputized agents from who knows what private security firm, etc? Likewise we ask where they will be sent, but only a fool would deny that the White House will decide which elections they consider life and death, and on that basis have Blanche send them to these specific locales. The two of them rise or fall together, therefore no lie, no fabrication, no set of illegal actions is a bridge too far for either.
Part I--Stephen Miller Is Running This Show--
At this point it is plainly visible that Trump himself is so far gone cognitively and physically that he is incapable of planning or coordinating anything. He spends his spare time super-glueing gold filigree onto Oval Office doorknobs, making stock purchases, and playing internet troll with his dear Natalie upstairs late into the dawn hours.
Otherwise they roll him out publicly on occasion like a windup toy and pull the string to set him off on one or another of his dementia-driven obsession-laced rants. He will go anywhere that there are cameras and an audience of MAGA cabbageheads to get up and talk about himself, and to make threats against his enemies for whom he demands retribution. Election campaigns, superpower summits, funerals, national TV addresses, it doesn’t matter where he is speaking or why, he is the main subject of everything coming from his own mouth, therefore his relationship to the world around him ranges from disinterested to destructive to dysfunctional.
Trump is barely there. So we need to keep our eyes on those who are.
ICE is Miller’s personal operation. The mass deportation policy has always been his strictly defined domain. Mass deportations, ie; the ethnic cleansing of the United States, was Donald Trump’s leading (and almost only) campaign issue, and therefore he credits Miller for his return to the presidency. That is what your MAGA friends, neighbors, and family members voted for, though many reading this will resist the thought because realizing who these people really are under the surface can be painful. This is why it is neither inflammatory or inaccurate to say that MAGA is a homegrown American Nazi Party, and what we once knew as the Republican Party has ceased to exist.
More importantly, mass deportation policy is also the issue around which Trump announced he would declare a state of national emergency starting on “day one,” and this in order to justify invoking wartime powers to repel the fictional Mexican drug cartel-Chinese fentanyl <invasion> of the US Southern border. (The use of the word “invasion” here is key to calling border enforcement a national security emergency warranting the expansion of executive orders) Every non-citizen, including those who are documented, could then be branded a criminal <and> a national security threat, and subsequently forcibly detained and deported.
It is crucial to remember that Miller is a Nazi in his identity. Meaning, that he has studied them intensively and borrows heavily from Hitler’s strategy and tactics as dictator. Miller’s intellectual idol was law Professor Carl Schmitt, also a favorite of the infamous Federalist Society. For those unfamiliar, Schmitt was Adolf Hitler’s “Crown Jurist” and legal adviser, who authored the legal arguments in support of Hitler’s coup after the Reichstag Fire, and thereafter wrote the legal arguments justifying the mass executions of Hitler’s enemies, (including of his own SA leadership) in the “Night Of The Long Knives.”
Schmitt’s “exceptionalism” doctrine and the concept of the “unitary executive” are the basis even today of the Supreme Court’s deranged ruling from two years ago on “presidential official immunity,” bestowing on the President a legal shield for life against any prosecution, when the crime committed is defined by them as an “official act.” Therefore Miller as a “Schmittian” has no problem stating publicly his intention to suspend Habeus Corpus if need be to put down Trump’s opposition extra-legally, whether they are citizens or not. This was covered last year by Rachel Maddow.
However, Miller’s personal identification with the Nazis goes far beyond his political/legal ideology. It is rooted in his embrace of violent white nationalism, his bottomless well of cruelty, his rage, his obsessive desire to annihilate or take bloody retribution against anyone in his way, and his belief that certain categories people, who he sees as being of the wrong race, religion, or gender, are in fact subhuman.
For those who want to lump this statement into the category of rhetoric or hyperbole, Miller himself stated this belief at a security conference in Europe. There is no way to “spin” this atrocious quote.

They’re all deformed in some way — in their appearance, in their dress, in their mannerism.”]

When first reading of this I flashed back to my first reading of “Mein Kampf” some 55 years ago, after reading Hitler’s ranting recollections of first encountering the caftaned and bearded Jewish men of Vienna.

A clever one this meshugannah Miller is, managing to tell three lies in one sentence in his speech. First, that all of Trump’s opponents are Antifa, therefore terrorists. Second, that the demonstrations were violent. Third, that everyone in attendence is deformed looking, not normal.
Somehow he thinks his view about how Trump’s opposition appears to him should be remotely relevant to the attendees of a 66 nation conference on security, most of whom see him as a psychotic aberration, a blot on all US history with zero common ground existing between them. So his speech was not even intended for them, it was given for his “audience of one” back home.
Some among his advisers told Trump that Miller’s public outbursts were hurting them with their own base leading up to the mid-terms, so he was sidelined for political reasons. Instead Fox and other MAGA outlets promoted Miller’s wife Katy to be his designated spokesperson and she became the leading retailer of his Nazi hatreds.
Miller was there speaking for one reason, which was his “coming out” event to announce that his several month long gagging and disappearance from the airwaves in the aftermath of the awful Minnesota ICE killings was over. The blowback against Miller’s bloodcurdling defense of the ICE agents involved was past, and he was making known that he was given a green light once again to run White House domestic policy, and to be as public as necessary in doing so.
My assessment is that Trump is seeing the poll numbers and is panicking, likely concluding that regular old MAGA politicking is not working and that he’ll have to resort to the bloody business of voiding the midterm results and using force to do it. Which means Miller’s stock is up again.
This little game of White House musical chairs, the removal of Bondi and installation of Blanche, the resurfacing of Miller, and not incidentally the unexpected resignation of top Trump Propaganda Minister Karoline Leavitt, along with the public statements about how ICE and the DOJ will be used on election day and thereafter, all speak volumes about what the future holds, and what we need to prepare for starting now.
Emergency actions by Governors, Mayors, State Attorneys General, municipal District Attorneys, in conjunction with local law enforcement, will be needed and should be coordinated both nationally and regionally in order to preempt Trump from voiding the election results. It might even reach the point of Governors having to call out their National Guards, beating Trump to the punch before he can federalize them under Title X, in order to protect voters from federal law enforcement goon squad operations.
This is where the proverbial rubber meets the road. To adequately grasp what this might look like, imagine hundreds of smaller scale January 6ths happening at State Capitols, boards of election, mail delivery centers, or any other location relevant to the certification of election results.
As far as is known, Democratic strategists are “gaming” the many possible scenarios for what Trump and Miller might do, and are planning out a legal/political strategy to neutralize them. Remember that these are the same “expert” consultants who chose to do nothing in the way of investigating computer voting irregularities after the 2024 Presidential election. We are not signing off on a theory about that either way, but the relevant point is that if the Democrat’s strategy in regard to Trump’s “second coup” plan is what they should do “after the fact,” or is defensive in nature, or characterized as a “conventional” response, then say goodbye and goodnight to democracy. We need bold preemptive actions, given that Trump’s plans are transparently illegal.
