Hello Friends,

Thanks once again for checking out Kaney’s Weird Files. I see we have some new followers / subscribers on these posts. Thanks for all you new faces joining in - hope it is worth it. I also want to make sure that all who reach out one to one either on this platform or find me on facebook and chat with me know that I am very moved by that, honored by your outreach. It means alot.

This is the next issue in a year of change and evolution of this format / publication. From its humble roots a year or two ago as a sort of regular e-zine with links to news articles to the more recent efforts as commentary on ufological zeitgeists, Kaneys Weird Files is, hopefully, on it’s way to something better. Better for all of you. Better for me, also.

The scene of people - more talented than msyelf - coming to write on the phenomenon has really exploded in the last several months and especially the last few weeks. I am actually shocked at it. From casual experiencers posting stream-of-conciousness notes to high-brow, cerbral, and articulate essayists, there is no shortage of commentary to parse through these days. It is cool to see growth, but I wonder if we are veering towards ‘trend’? Are we dangerously close to overhthinking the topic and making it more than it is? I wonder sometimes. That said, I am overall glad to see many folks coming here to use it as a medium / tool of genuine expression and healing. As always, I caution everyone to be wary of those telling you how you should be interpreting your own experiences. If they were scary, I am sure they were. If they caused trauma, there is likely reason for it. If you had healing, great! If you connected with other high vibrational conciousnesses and now are feeling so much better in life, awesome. There is a multitude of ways people experience things in and around this phenomenon. There is also a spectrum of awareness, understanding, and integration that will shape people’s interpretations. No one paradigm is always ‘correct’, in my opinion.

I apologize to all of you - not making excuses - but I am recovering from a pretty complex nasal repair surgery which I had on March 31st. It was up and down recovery and I barely remember the days afterward. Hopefully I will have a much better time breathing, being healthy overall, and getting more adequte sleep. I will let you know if I get news of them finding any foreign objects or unusual attributes from my next check up.

Stay strong in the light of the current affairs. Be kind to all you can be. Never dim your light for others to be comfortable. Take pride in who you are. Never shy from your truth. Remember, we rise and fall together.

The Rising Body Count of Missing or Dead Gov’t Experts on UFOS
Retired Major General William Neil McCasland, Monica Reza (Monica Jacinto), Dr. J. Michael Bishop, Paul Ehrlich, Robert Trivers. Two are missing. The others noted as deceased. All with involvement in space, military, government, science, etc. Some say they are all tied to the ‘phenomenon’. It says something when even CNN reports on it. That link is the Newsnation segment on Gen. McCasland. Whether or not this is all cloak and dagger play aimed at silencing or erasing the work of these individuals you have to recognize these are real news headlines on major press outlets now and comments of concern from sitting members of congress as well. It begs one to question, truly, what is going on out there. I think there are plenty of us to know when coincidence runs shy of fathomable explanations and stranger-than-life realities sit staring at us like a child full of paint at 3 am saying they didn’t do it.
Tim Burchett Expresses His Feelings on UFO / Alien Briefings: Yes, that’s right. A current sitting member of the House of Representatives from Tennessee gave a rather interesting response to his being ‘read-in’ to the UFO phenomenon in a series of closed meetings on the topic from several governtment agencies. Related to this report, linked above, he stated the information he has been given as very volatile and possibly could be the reason why more hasn’t been disclosed tying this story into the story of others with knowledge going missing or ending up dead. He stamps his statement with a very clear message by saying on record to the public, “By the way, I am not scuicidal’. Let that sink in. This is the simple, stark reality we are now living in. This is not the X-Files. A real member of congress just went on record that information on UFOs and Aliens was too real and upsetting to release and likely the cause for people who know about it to go missing or die. Then, he wants everyone to know that if he goes missing or suddenly dies, that he is not scuicidal. He means to say that someone would have likely had him killed. This is real. Can you go back maybe 10 years and even think this would be possible? We don’t have to dig too much into this becuase what is left unsaid in this case likely speaks for itself in metric tonnes of measure.
Meteors, and Fireballs, and Bigfoot, Oh My! If you have a warm body, then you will have likely seen all the reports of the fireballs in March over the nation, seemingly centered around the midwest. Those observations are then followed by or come with paired sightings of the inimitable Sasquatch. Very interesting stuff, for sure. I can see the March 17th meteor was confirmed by NASA as reported around 9 am and it was one that caused a sonic boom as it came SE over Lake Erie. Then, we get reports of Bigfoot sightings in Ohio. Bigfoot Society Podcast told local FOX News of 6 reported sightings. However, if you look closely, the dates are all prior to the fireball. Not saying they aren’t related, but it seems to me the fireballs did not cause a mass migration of the elusive, relic hominid. Unless, perhaps, they knew it was coming, and decided to get the heck out of dodge before being crushed? What is more strange to me, is the commentary from NASA, that they do not track such objects that close to Earth as they are so small as to be hard to see in a telescope. Moreover, they are often and regularly coming into the Earth’s atmosphere and blowing up, just not over well populated areas. I think that is an unsually flippant and dismissive response given how big this one was, how fast it was going, and how lucky we were that it fragmented first. I will let you all decide on the rest.

RIP Nick Pope: It was announced Nick Pope passed away April 7th. I share many peoples’ emotional reactions online and in the space. I think it was good he was part of all our lives. I wrote a piece about him in my last issue if you want to read it. He will be missed and I offer my condolences to his wife and to all whom he meant so much. Artemis II Trip Rekindles Space Exploration Spirit: My family and I watched as we made history again with the launch for the Artemis II mission for the Moon. It was hard to instill the importance of this moment to young people of this generation. But we tried. This is a notable moment not just because it is the only other time we’ve sent people to the Moon, but, also, because we would be visualizing the ominous ‘dark side’ of the moon. If you followed the mission, you’ll know the astronauts captured images and reported amazing coloration. Patterns never thought possible. We also have sent humans on the farthest space trek than ever before. Many uniques on this mission. I also want to point out that in the comparison images of the Earth from orbit compared to those taken in 1976. Can you see the difference? Clear looking atmopshere vs. heavily hazed these days. I found that interesting as it reminded me of a post I did noting and asking others if the sky looked off to anyone else. Like a different type of sunlight. Hazy sky. Just different looking. Well, this may prove there is some validity to that. So much going on with this news. There is also the fact that there have long been rumored structures, settlements, etc. on this region of the Moon. Will we get clarity on this or will the Artemis Mission be replete with associated conspiracies for years to come? We shall see. Still, congrats to the crew and to humanity for accomplishing such a feat. Wishing them a safe return.

On March 19th, I received emailed response from CIA Information Privacy Officer, Stephen Glenn. The response was that the search was done and found there were no records responsive to my request. Shocker. Additionally, they said while that was the case, I had the right to appeal that determination. All pretty standard responses. These were for a portion of my questions regarding records of a GATE program being conducted in the area of my hometown with relation to the old Project Stargate. There were a few more questions and requests that were not handled in this response. I was encouraged to see that they mentioned the others would be responded to separately. Looking forward to that reply.

I was even more intrigued by a written response that was not standard form-filling boiler plate.

I will likely be sending a check and reference number in to this person to see what comes back. First, interesting that they pinged on that and sent back to me what I was trying to link to the GATE program many of us remember. I know I did research those archives to some degree already. Just curious what the DVD format would entail. It is interesting to me this was offered as ‘an effort to assist you’. I am inclined to take him at his word that he is trying to help. Maybe even curious about the nature of my inquiry. However, I am not one to quit easily. I think I will appeal, but need to learn the best way to do that. I follow and watch the Black Vault online and see they are professionals at FOIAs and appealing. I reached out for adivce but did not see a response yet at the time of the writing of this post. We shall see how this goes. I will keep you all updated as these updates unfold.

Ever since first watching Ancient Aliens I was hooked on these theories of ancient civilizations being visited by advanced beings from other worlds and helping with the advancement of our own ancient peoples. The likes of EVD intrigued me often. It was not that I 100% believed all of it at first, but it was the first thing in a long time to instill a sense of wonder in my and a desire to explore it. One source of information I recall being mentioned often was The Book of Enoch - an omitted book of the books of canon from the Christian Bible. It was thought to be inconsistent to Hebrew and Christian core canon and not written by the original author.

In any case, I found a copy online for cheap and got to work reading it.

I can see why it might have been omitted. It talks about giants being born by Angels coming down from heaven and having relations with human women. Just like EVD says. That part I confirmed quickly. It also talks about a time early on when some Angels came down and taught humans ‘secret’ things that led to a sort of interpreted corruption of the people and thus leading to the condemnation of those angels and those corrupted humans. To me it sounded like technology. It also talks about a bunch of Angels by name and what they had domain over. It also refers to a ‘Lord of Spirits’. It is far less Christian sounding when I read it, so it’s ommission makes sense to me.

There is a few parts that intrigured me further. As far as contributing to the notion of Enoch misinterpreting these as Angels when in actuality they were alien beings I am not sure myself. His description of the Angels do not follow the typical description of greys at all. Rather, they were described as both luminous and transparent at one point in the book. He also described the foundation of the place in the heavens as transparent or glasslike substance as ‘stones’. To me these two things stuck out for a very specific reason. When I was under hypnosis and did a past life regression, I went back to a time when I died and went to a place in the sky. There, I saw my deceased wife and child. Guess what, they were not solid forms. They were both transluscent and iridescent at the same time. And some of the structure? Looked like glass - transparent and shiny. It appears he went to some place similar. A place where souls congregate and are prepared and reshipped to wherever they are needed? That part made me sit up.

The other piece is he does describe lots of astrology and the procession of luminous astral bodies, like the Sun and Moon. This one is a bit harder to pin down. There is a description of how they enter the space above Earth and proceed East to West but enter from wooden frames of doors and windows. If we are to venture he was actually above Earth, we must ask how high above. If lower orbit, he might not realize the Earth is round yet and not see its shape. I may have to reread those parts, but I can see that there was an attempt to explain the seasons, winds, and stars’ motion. However, it doesn’t make it easy to pintpoint what he is saying and what is actually being observed. At least for me.

There is a later passage of cows being born to Angels and those other animals being born that are mixes of other creatures. Eventually, they proceed to give us a spread of animals that will join Enoch’s Grandson that we know of as Noah. Are we to read this as pure creationism in a religious context or were these advanced beings creating biological entities like ‘chimeras’ or hybrids which led to the animal we have today?

Finally, there is the interesting birth of a child of immense importance with startling appearance. A curious feature are the noted eyes that illuminate its surroundings. The parents question if it is human. They go to Enoch and he reassures them he is a sign of the times and a symbol of righteousness. A savior, of sorts. What’s interesting to me is he is someone that seems to fit the description of albinism. Curious also that the Angels are also referred to as ‘Watchers’ at this time. It reminds me of how some describe the Greys in the current phenomenon. We know that this person born would come to be Noah.

I gave the rating of 2 for a few reasons. The book was cheaply made, as part of the internet archive at this point, with later issues in printing errors. The paper is low quality and easy to ruin. The paperback version is not of great material, either.

Beyond that, for as much as I recall it being referenced in EVD’s talks, on Ancient Aliens, etc. I do not possess the same confident associations of the Ancient Alien theory after reading it as some do. I may need to read it a second time to catch more.

The majority of the later book reads less interestingly as an metaphor of real happenings and more of the fire and brimstone seen in old testament style writings - i.e. apocolyptic. The visions and teachings given to Enoch repeatedly explain how ancient man and the first race of giants and that old civilization were bad and that people would be punished for that in a couple different ways. There is much posturing in the text and preaching about righteousness and worshipping the Lord of Spirits. When wickendess is weeded out of man, all shall ascend to the world of Spirits.

It also feels like a truncated story that ended without ending, if that makes sense.

So has a friend of mine but on the other side near McFarland. This is a interesting report and has good detail in it.
