Stalker 2 is my favourite kind of game. The kind that features long stretches of relative quiet and tense exploration, punctuated by brief moments of decisive violence. Schlepping around, hunting for artifacts, and slamming energy drinks to keep my stamina up while trying not to get in the middle of a firefight between two opposing factions is the name of the game.

While it seems like the overall reception to the newly revealed elite specializations has been positive, I am less than enthused about the mesmer’s spec, the Troubadour. Atomfall isn’t really anything like the Fallout games. It feels more like an amalgam of some of the most interesting parts from things like Deathloop , Deus Ex , modern day Hitman , and the Metroid Prime series. I wasn’t immediately hooked from the jump, but after unlocking some abilities and opening up the world a bit more, the game really hits its stride.
It’s been a busy and chaotic start to 2025. I’m in the midst of expanding and organizing my LEGO collection. I’d like to find a nice way to photograph some models, and share them here. Gaming wise, I’ve been enjoying Starfield , Rogue Trader , Avowed , and lately, Type Help . Been starting a brand-new Vampire Survivors run, too.

Witchfire is a dope af mashup of styles and genres. You’ve got weird popes sending out immortal assassins to purge the land of like, fiends and daemons and gross stuff.
