We’re excited to welcome you to FAR AWAY Hackathon! As we get closer to the event, here are a few important updates for all participants.
Please make sure you bring the following with you:
Aadhaar Card (Mandatory) – Required for verification during check-in.
Student ID Card (if available) – Please carry it with you.
Guitar (Optional 🎸) – If you play one, feel free to bring it along! We’ll be having a late-night jam session and would love for you to join. The hackathon isn’t just about coding it’s about making memories, meeting amazing people, and having fun.
We’re currently exploring the possibility of providing a bus service for offline participants.
Please note that this service is not confirmed yet.
This would be provided from Bus station and Railway Station only.
If you’re interested, please fill out the bus preference form below.
Even if the service is confirmed, only a limited number of seats will be available, so filling out the form does not guarantee a seat.
We’ll share an update as soon as we have confirmation.
Around 2 days before the event, we’ll issue a dedicated contact number exclusively for offline participants.
You can use this number for:
Guidance on reaching the venue
Last-minute travel assistance
Event-day queries
Check-in support
Please avoid calling any Zuup contact numbers during the event week. This is an extremely busy period for our team, and many calls may go unanswered.
If you need assistance, please leave us a message on WhatsApp, and our team will get back to you as soon as possible.
You’ll also be added to a dedicated Offline Participants channel on our Slack workspace by tomorrow, where all important announcements, schedules, and event updates will be shared.

You will receive a detailed email with all participation instructions no later than tomorrow.
You will also be added to a dedicated Online Participants Slack channel, where you’ll receive updates, meeting links, announcements, and support throughout the hackathon.
Over the next few days, we’ll be sending multiple emails leading up to the event. These will include important information such as:
Event waiver and consent forms
Do’s and Don’ts
Check-in instructions
Schedule updates
Venue and logistics
Other participant guidelines
Please make sure to check your inbox regularly (and your spam/junk folder if needed) so you don’t miss any important updates before the hackathon.
