really normal dubstep from the weirdest producer in the game. you may know him from 100 gecs, a distillation of gen z autism and early 2000s “emo” nostalgia. something like if breathe carolina made dubstep. brady takes it to the next level with this one, the tweak is peak.

a car crash of a song, and then when bro does the metalcore ass vocals at the end i lose my mind. perfect modern take on the spazzy electronic hardcore of 2010’s enter shikari or sky eats airplane, two bands that have my nostalgic heart.

goofy wonky wonderful euro pop dance music, these guys should go for eurovision. i saw these guys play live one time and they had such an awkward stage presence but it was hypnotic, their dance moves so funky and clunky. the charm is the imperfections and interesting electronic bleeps and bloops. magic

there is a lot of discourse around this track and if it is ai or not… it’s so obviously ai because of how the chorus is written, no artist is interrupting themselves to do a refrain halfway through a b part of a chorus lyric… the sad part is that bro could’ve easily just used the ai reference and rerecorded it and no one would know. the song is definitely catchy but is basically a draft of a tune from some startup. only ai i’ve heard that is better is the charlie kirk one.

avant dub electronic music that will change the world. kassie krut is the new project of legendary philadelphia noise rocker band “palm”. they take their angular cacophonous guitar music and shove it through a synthesizer. beautiful and interesting stuff. why have a computer make your music when you can make music with a computer? go see them play on the upcoming boy harsher tour and blow minds.

pure joyous garageband pop that is hand sculpted with playdoh of fun noises and vocal chirps and chants. lucy is pushing the boundaries of human music and proving that the elements are worth worshipping are the heart and soul of a song, everything else is the backdrop or the cherry on top.

the most genuine and powerful tune for last. when i first encountered the name i thought this must be a gimmick, but never have i been faster proven wrong. @ is making music that is so sweet and pure that it helps to have some funny/light element to dodge accusations of pretense. they position themselves to surprise you with their very special music.
