Oh, how sweet it is to give Christ Jesus, God Almighty, glory, love, and thanksgiving in all things.
Whatever our station in life, let’s always pray that this is our first and last intention, even though our path to follow Christ is ever so distracting.
Sometimes we are praised for our accomplishments and talents, yet we mustn’t be distracted from giving glory to God or to anyone or anything else.
Even Jesus was distracted, yet while doing His Father’s Will on the way to Calvary, the crowds’ blasphemies and ridicule didn’t turn Him from His objective.
Let us fulfill our holy intentions by praying that we don’t fall by the wayside in our endeavors, but rather fulfill God’s First Commandment.
