Saturday Night, September 13, 2026 - right before the dance turns the DoubleTree Bayside into the hottest place to be in San Diego, we’re rolling out the pink carpet for our most glamorous event yet.
Here’s the tea: you’ve got just over a month to get signed up. And here’s the really good news, your costume doesn’t need to be finished yet. You just need to enter by September 1st to lock in your spot. So if you’re still sourcing that perfect shade of hologram pink or hunting down the exact sequin pattern, you’ve got time. You got this.

Jem-themed outfits and fashions straight from the cartoon, dolls, comics, or your wildest Starlight-approved dreams. Think doll fashions, iconic looks, or anything that screams Glitter ‘n Gold. This is your chance to recreate a favorite look or put your own spin on what Jem would wear in 2026.

Jem meets... literally anything else. Jem x Star Wars? Pizzazz x Wednesday Addams? Riot x your favorite anime? If it’s creative, chaotic, and combines our favorite fandom with something totally unexpected, we want to see it. This is where the weird, wonderful mashups live, and honestly? These are always the most fun.

Here’s what you need to do:
Head to jemcon.xyz/cosplay-pageant and fill out the entry form
Write a brief description of your look (we’ve got a word count limit, so keep it tight — no 500-word essays, just the good stuff about what inspired your creation)
Important Rules:
You can enter as an individual OR as part of a group — not both
One entry per person total
In-person ONLY — no virtual entries this year
Group entries count as one entry (meaning if you’re a group, everyone shows up together, no costume changes)
Scoring is based on costume design, accuracy/craftsmanship, and overall universal appeal. Translation: we’re looking for creativity, skill, and that special something that makes people go “holy sh*t, that’s SICK.”
This is your moment. Whether you’ve been planning your cosplay for months or you’re starting from scratch right now, this pageant is for you. We’re not trying to gatekeep this or make it impossible, we want to see what the fandom can create. We want to celebrate your vision, your effort, and your absolute refusal to let anybody dim your shine.
You don’t need a perfect costume. You need passion. You need that drive to say “I’m gonna make this, I’m gonna wear it, and I’m gonna feel like a superstar doing it.” That’s the Jem energy we’re after.
