Okay, real talk for a second.
JemCon 2026 is happening September 11-13 in San Diego, and it is going to be truly outrageous. We’re talking an incredible guest lineup, a fashion runway competition, a cosplay pageant, a museum exhibit, a drag pre-show, a dance party, the whole nine yards.
But here’s the thing: none of it happens without people. And we are still looking for a few good fans to help us pull it off.
WE NEED VOLUNTEERS
I’m not talking about a huge commitment here. We need people who can show up and help out for an hour or two. That’s it. An hour or two of your time, and you will have played a real role in making JemCon happen.
Here’s where we need hands:
Registration — help us get attendees checked in and ready to rock on Friday
Merch Booth — help fans find their perfect piece of JemCon history
Photo Booth — keep things running and the energy high
Set Up — help us transform the space before the magic begins
Tear Down — help us wrap things up at the end of the weekend
AV Support — keeping the lights on and the music pumping
Vendor Room — helping our amazing vendors and keeping things organized
No experience necessary. Just show up, be your fabulous self, and help us create something truly outrageous.

If you can’t be there in person, there’s still a way to show up for JemCon, and it genuinely makes a difference.
We have an Amazon Wishlist full of supplies we need for the convention. Things like craft supplies, decorations, office essentials; stuff that helps us put on the best show possible without breaking the bank.
JemCon is fan-funded and fan-run. Every single item on that list is something we actually need. If you’ve ever wanted to be part of making this convention happen, this is your chance.
