Inspiration Through Acquisition

I’ve been really struggling to find inspiration lately. Sometimes when I get this way, I try to break out of it by buying a new piece of gear. Last week I bought new used ultrawide zoom lens. I’ve taken it out a couple times to photograph things around the city. I like the pictures I’ve made well enough, but I need to photograph a person with it to really be sure. I used to be better at approaching strangers in the street, but my social anxiety has increased significantly since then.
