The concept that Bearden initially designates as “neutrinic” and later develops under the rubric of scalar electromagnetics is the technical hinge connecting his ontology of the virtual state with the possibility of actually engineering paranormal effects. If mind and matter are orthogonally related expressions of a single multidimensional process, there must be an intermediate mechanism through which a pattern originating in consciousness can become electromagnetic activity and through which an electrically generated pattern can, in turn, reach beneath the organism’s ordinary sensory defenses to affect thought, emotion, physiology, or intention. In The Excalibur Briefing, Bearden assigns this mediating function to a second biofield that lies between ordinary electromagnetism and the mindfield. He tentatively associates it with the neutrino because of the dimensional and behavioral characteristics that he attributes to this hypothetical stratum.
