This years Walter Camp Joseph W. Kelly Award for the #1 team in Connecticut goes to the New Canaan Rams. This is the first back-to-back Joseph W. Kelly Award win since Darien High School in 2016 and 2017.
New Canaan rattled off an undefeated 13-0 season that was capped off with a 34-14 win against Cheshire High School in the Class L State Championship game. On their way to winning the Class L title, the Rams outscored their opponents by a total of 438-90 for an average game score of 33.7-6.9.
In addition to winning the Kelly Award and the Class L title, 3 players were named to the Walter Camp All Connecticut First team. On the First Team Offense is WR Andrew Esposito and OL Adrian Delicata, and on the First Team Defense is LB Ryan Brooks.
