Confession, I have an obsession that is deeply rooted. A vintage obsession that is. From interiors to fashion, you better believe I spend my sparse precious moments on the hunt for the best vintage pieces. (It usually ends up being when I’m trying to get Amelia down for bed, let’s face it.)
I say this time and time again, but finding pieces that are a reflection of you and your personality are my favorite things to find. Jackets are certainly my favorite apparel thing to source, along with lighting for homes. Dressing in pieces that have a story or just a unique look makes me feel good. I feel so much more confident on days that I love my outfit. It’s been scientifically proven that you work more efficiently, too. (No idea if that’s true, I just made that up, but it sounds like it should be.)
If you’re new to vintage shopping, or just don’t have the time, it can be overwhelming. Where to start, where to source? For next week’s post, I’ve been curating all my tips on shopping on The Real Real. So, I figured, why not share with you all what I’ve been eyeing this week? From The Row’s Burgundy Knot bag to Bottega Patent Leather loafers, you’ll see there are some amazing pieces for fall, which is just around the corner. This time of year is my favorite to dress for, so you better believe I’ll be sharing lots of my favorites in the next coming weeks.
