“Hitler was gay and retarded” is a funny statement these days. As a statement, it is clearly anti-Hitler—in theory compatible with modern gay race communism (GRC), while also being offensive to wignats—however, it also happens to include slurs for dumb people—I’m not sure what the most current politically correct term for these niggas is. (Differently intellectually-abled? Persons of imbecility?)—and for fags (LGBTQQIP2SAAWXYZ+-%$#?)1, which is guaranteed to infuriate the afformentioned GRC supporters. Therefore, I find it to be a simple and elegant filtration system that removes the pond scum (90% of male substack “writers”, and 99% of substack hoes) from my intellectual Koi pond. All while using a mere five words.
However, having said all that. I do have some serious points to make.
Reactionary vitalism isn't just the latest version of philosophy bro slop for the terminally online. It is the recognition that the recent ascendancy of neolonghousism has systematically suppressed our innate capacity to thrive2. The longhouse, that suffocating female-dominated social structure that rewards consensus and conformity over merit and truth, has metastasized throughout our institutions with devastating effect. What we're witnessing isn't "progress" but rather the establishment of a fundamentally feminine mode of social control, one that prioritizes security and group cohesion over courage and beauty. The reactionary vitalist doesn't reject this reality out of misogyny but out of a clear-eyed assessment that civilizational flourishing requires both masculine and feminine virtues in proper balance.
Technology itself isn't the enemy. The mastery of increasingly complex tools is a quintessentially human endeavour. The problem is that we've allowed technology to become our master rather than our servant, outsourcing our agency to algorithms and platforms that render us passive consumers rather than active creators. Every person carries within them the capacity for transformation, provided they're willing to embrace the revitalizing hardships of life, rather than the numbing comforts. A tree that faces a fierce wind grows a wood that is denser and stronger. Likewise, Humans develop resilience, strength of character, and wisdom by confronting and overcoming challenges. “A smooth sea never made a skilled sailor”. The modern longhouse robs people of this essential developmental process by pathologizing struggle and coddling weakness. A perspicacious reactionary vitalist will come to recognize that our redemption lies not in further insulating ourselves from reality. Rather, it requires us to embrace the fundamental truths of human nature: that we find meaning in overcoming obstacles, that hierarchy is inevitable and often virtuous, and that excellence requires the freedom to fail. Therefore, proper reactionairy vitalism will never condone the dispensation of participation trophies. And yet, this is exactly what modern day neo-nazis wish to do. They want to give Hitler a participation trophy for coming in last place in WW2.
The most retarded thing about contemporary reactionary thought, is the bizarre fetishization of Hitler and the Nazi regime by supposed "nietszchean vitalists". Let me be crystal fucking clear: Reactionary Vitalism is fundamentally incompatible with Neo-Nazism. Any self-respecting vitalist wouldn't be caught dead simping for Hitler and his failed Reich. Why? Because Hitler lost, you absolute midwits. What kind of pathetic "will to power" ideology worships history's most famous loser? Hitler himself believed that if Germany lost WWII, they deserved annihilation; at least he had the intellectual consistency to understand that in the brutal game of geopolitics, losers don't get participation trophies.
The Third Reich put all their chips on the table and got absolutely bodied. In real power politics, there's no such thing as double or nothing, you don't get to reset the game and try again. Furthermore, any honest analysis makes it painfully obvious they were destined to fail from the start. They never had a realistic chance of invading England (the Luftwaffe couldn't even achieve air superiority, for fuck's sake)3, and America was inevitably going to enter the war one way or another. However, a true strategist would have recognized that the US and the USSR were not natural allies. That they were ideological enemies forced into temporary cooperation. A genuinely Machiavellian leader would have exploited this tension, rather than fighting a two-front war like a complete mongoloid. Even if Hitler had won the Battle of Britain by some miracle, any full-scale invasion attempt would have immediately triggered American intervention. The idea that Hitler was some misunderstood strategic genius is cope of the highest order. He wasn't insane, he simply wasn't that smart. He maneuvered Germany into an unwinnable war against the world's two greatest industrial powers simultaneously. What exactly about this catastrophic strategic failure are we supposed to be idolizing? This is your übermensch?
Let's be honest here, I know that most self-professed neo-nazis are merely LARPers, edgy keyboard warriors who are more interested in getting a rise out of people rather than actually furthering Nazi ideology. These 4chan refugees don't actually want to establish the Fourth Reich; they just want to piss off their progressive college professors and scare the art hoes. But what aggravates me to no end is that they spend so much time glazing Hitler and his cronies rather than understanding his glaring flaws as a leader. If you're going to LARP as a sycophant for authoritarianism, at least pick a leader who didn't self-destruct in spectacular fashion. Genghis Khan, Julius Caesar, Peter the Great, or—if you really have some kind of German nationalism fetish—Otto Von Bismarck is literally right there!4
The reactionary vitalist position isn't about nostalgia for failed regimes; it's about recognizing the eternal principles that allow civilizations and individuals to flourish. It's about understanding that true strength comes from acknowledging reality as it is, not as we wish it to be. Hitler's Germany represents the opposite of this ideal. Nazism is a movement built on delusion, mythmaking, and the hubristic belief that sheer will could overcome material reality. They ran headfirst into the concrete wall of geopolitical facts and splattered themselves across the pages of history. So the next time you feel the urge to praise Hitler's "vision" or "determination," do yourself a favor and try to understand some actual history. Read a history book instead of a meme, and maybe – just maybe – you'll stop embarrassing yourself and the rest of us who are trying to have an actual conversation about how to revitalize Western civilization. Hitler wasn't the cure; he was just another symptom of the disease.
I added a few extra letters/symbols in there just to be sure. I live in Canada, and up here, keeping track of each and every new mental illness that they add to the acronym is essentially a full-time job. I’m sure furries and bronies are next in line (if they haven’t already been added by the time you read this).
To me, thriving entails maximizing your strength, courage, health, and wisdom while simultaneously fostering and surrounding yourself with beauty in all of its forms. (I believe that beauty is subjective, but further elaboration of this concept will require its own post.)
And even if they somehow had, do you really think that America would have remained neutral while its closest ally got invaded?
Although I personally recommend that you disabuse yourself of your Germanophilia. German culture is inherently longhouse adjacent. This is clearly evidenced by their inherent obsession with orderliness and conformity.
