Every name on this list is a place I have gone myself and is run by people I know and trust.

I learned quickly that the plant medicine world fills up fast with pretenders. Slick websites, borrowed lineage, facilitators who read a manual and started calling themselves healers back in the US.

The medicine is real. The stakes are real. And you cannot afford a stranger guessing their way through your worst hour.

This list will always stay short on purpose. These are the centers I trust with the healing and growth my own nervous system, and who I trust to guide the people I love. I’ll keep adding as I vet more of them.

I promise wholeheartedly that nothing will be added to this list unless I’m absolutely certain of its safety, efficacy, and the container for healing and growth they provide.

These medicines work through screening, preparation, and integration. You will get out of the experience what you put in. Every center here runs a medical and psychological intake for a reason. Some conditions and medications do not mix with this work, and a good center will tell you no. Take that no as a sign of a place worth trusting.

No matter what, you are where you’re supposed to be. You have to be. There is no other possibility. Your only job is to show up thoughtfully, show up consistently, and trust the process.

Legality shifts by country. Ayahuasca, ibogaine, psilocybin, and San Pedro sit in different legal territory depending on where you are. Costa Rica, Mexico, Africa, and Peru are not the United States. Know your ground before you go.
