When the Pieces Come Together

Faryl Moore · Practical Spirituality

Lately, I’ve been sitting with a realization that has brought me an unexpected sense of clarity. It wasn’t one of those lightning bolt moments where everything suddenly changes. It was quieter than that, more like looking at a puzzle I’ve been working on for years and finally seeing the picture all of the pieces have been creating.

The thought that stopped me was surprisingly simple.

Everything I do lives under the umbrella of Practical Spirituality™.

As obvious as that sounds now, it wasn’t obvious to me.

For years, I thought about my work in terms of what I was offering. There were private sessions, meditation classes, retreats, articles, speaking, and conversations about energy, intuition, and the nervous system. I knew they were connected, but I never quite knew how to talk about them as a whole. Every time someone asked me what I did, I found myself describing one piece of the picture, knowing there was something much larger that I couldn’t quite put into words.

Then something shifted.

I realized that Practical Spirituality™ isn’t another offering I’ve created. It’s the umbrella that everything else lives beneath. Every session, every meditation, every retreat, every article, and every conversation has been pointing toward the same thing. They were never separate paths. They were all expressions of the same body of work.

That realization has been incredibly freeing. It helped me understand why I’ve never felt completely at home being defined by a single title, modality, or method. Those things describe parts of what I do, but none of them capture the whole. Practical Spirituality™ does. It creates a place where conversations about energy, intuition, presence, the nervous system, and everyday life all belong together. It reminds us that spirituality isn’t something we step into for an hour and then leave behind. It’s something we live.

Looking back, I don’t think I created Practical Spirituality™ as much as I recognized it. It has been quietly revealing itself for years through every class I’ve taught, every person I’ve had the privilege of working with, every article I’ve written, and every conversation that left me thinking, there’s something deeper here. I simply hadn’t stepped back far enough to see the pattern.

I’m sharing this because I have a feeling many of us experience seasons like this. We spend so much time looking ahead, wondering what’s next, that we forget to look back and notice what has been unfolding all along. Sometimes clarity doesn’t come from creating something new. Sometimes it comes from finally recognizing what has been true from the beginning.

This realization has me excited for what’s ahead, not because I’m changing direction, but because I finally understand the direction I’ve been traveling all along.

If you’re curious about where this realization is leading, reply to this post with “Learn more.” I’d love to share what’s unfolding.
