Last month I started a new job at Way2Web as a developer (they wrote a nice blog about me). A new job is very taxing for me and takes some time getting used to. But I have no regrets; I love my new job. It's so much better for me than my previous job.
⭐ Year Review
A yearly review (written in my bullet journal) has become a good practice for me. Looking back to the year and writing down what worked, what didn't, what I want more of, and what I want less of in the coming year. These are some things I wrote down (among other things):
What worked
- Keep believing in myself. I kept dating and found my lovely girlfriend. I kept applying for jobs and found a great new job that fits me.
- Clear goals and intentionality
- Meditation
- Watching more movies than series
- Less social media
- Less alcohol
What didn't
- Wanting to make a living with lettering (while working a day job)
- Wanting to write a newsletter every week

Twenty songs released in 2019 that I loved the most. Not ranked, but I put some thought into the track order. I've been doing this since 2016.

📽️ Letterboxd
Letterboxd is a social network for sharing your taste in film. Use it as a diary to record your opinion about films as you watch them, or just to keep track of films you've seen in the past.
I've been using it for a year now, and I love it. I now have a nice diary of all the movies I've watched since January, 2019.
Recently, I watched both a movie with awful pacing (Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker ★★½, this YouTube video explains it well) and one with excellent pacing:

★★★★½
This movie is on top of many top 10 lists for 2019 (and even the last decade), so I went to see it. You can see the trailer here. It has stunning cinematography, editing, and symbolism (poor vs rich, consequences of climate change etc.). After watching it, I gave it 4 stars, although I didn't understand all the five-star ratings either. But, after seeing the following two YouTube video's I bumped my rating to 4,5 stars. It made me appreciate it more.

Speaking of movies, Cristopher Nolan recently released the trailer for his new movie: TENET. It looks very promising!
