📷 Analog Camera

I've bought a second-hand Pentax MX with a 35mm 2.8 lens, and I love it. It's very compact, and I've been taking photo's with it for the last few weeks. Recently, I send three 35mm rolls to a lab to get them developed and scanned. I’m curious to see the results.

🎞️ Why We Still Love Film

Speaking of film, this is a nice 10 minute documentary about the popularity of analog photography in the digital age. I follow all the mentioned YouTubers, especially Willem Verbeeck.

Why are younger generations embracing the slower process of shooting and developing film in a time when taking the perfect photo with our cellphones is cheap and instant gratification?

🎶 Angel Olsen

Last month I went to see Angel Olsen in Paradiso, Amsterdam. It was beautiful, especially the song Chance.

💚 Vue.js

For my work, I went to the Vue.js Amsterdam conference. It was inspiring and insightful. Plus, well organized in a great venue (Theater Amsterdam).

Vue.js is a popular frontend framework, which I use at my job. In this documentary, which premiered at the conference, Evan You tells the story of how he fought against the odds to bring Vue.js to life. Even enjoyable if you're not a developer.

📺 De Mol

If you're dutch speaking, I highly recommend watching De Mol on vier.be. It's so much better than the Dutch version (Wie Is De Mol). The new season started this Sunday. Watch the first episode here (and AirPlay or Cast it to your TV). I haven't watched the first episode yet, but the trailer is exhilarating:
