New here? This is the map. Digital Craft Workshop is a build-in-public journal: I'm a senior engineer building self-running content systems in the evenings, and I publish the real numbers — including the months nothing sells.
Month 5 on Substack. 250+ subscribers. 16 product sales across 5 products. One AI-run history channel (Bohemia Chronicles) publishing daily shorts, built entirely with my own pipeline. I update these as they move — that's the whole point of "numbers included."
The flagship series is the Reel Pipeline — the system that turns articles into narrated 9:16 reels, with the decisions, dead ends and real numbers along the way. Everything else branches from it: essays on building solo with AI, and the honest revenue posts.
Everything I write about, packaged:
The Article-to-Reel Playbook — free. The whole method on paper, tool-agnostic.
Reel Pipeline Kit ($39) — the pipeline as a local app: article in, captioned reel out, on your machine.
Kit Pro ($79) — the same pipeline on autopilot: render queue, Telegram, Substack publishing, Claude MCP.
Reel Pipeline Studio — coming in October: the Kit and Faceless Channel OS merged into one app. Waitlist is open; there's a 36-second teaser recorded in the live app.
I read and reply to every email. If you're building something too — or just thinking about it — I'm curious.
Hi, I’m Daniel — a software engineer and solo builder behind Digital Craft Workshop.
Ten years of TypeScript, .NET, and React for a living. In the evenings I build small digital properties: AI video tools like the Reel Pipeline Kit, and a history reel channel that publishes without me touching it. Some shipped, some I killed, and I write about both.
The long game is funding what I’ve wanted since I was a kid with a borrowed GameBoy: my own game worlds.
Each essay is something you can read in one sitting and use the same week. Everything here I actually ran, including the parts that broke.
