Not only does Clan Logan have a Commander, but the Society is now in a position to hold its first-ever elections. You must be a Society member to participate.
Please read the information that follows, and if you or another Society member you know would like to be nominated to serve as an Officer or Director of the Society, contact elections@clanlogansociety.org for the Nomination form.
Clan Logan Society International (CLSI) Election of Officers and Board of Directors
Clan Logan Society International (CLSI) has issued a formal Call for Nominations for the upcoming election of Executive Officers and At-Large Directors.
All eligible members in good standing are encouraged to participate by submitting nominations or standing for election.
Positions Open for Election
Executive Officers
President (5-year term)
Vice President (5-year term)
Secretary (3-year term)
Treasurer (3-year term)
Board of Directors (At-Large)
Three (3) Directors – 5-year terms
Two (2) Directors – 3-year terms
Eligibility Requirements
In accordance with the CLSI By-laws, every nominee must meet the following eligibility requirements:
Be an active, participating member in good standing for at least the preceding twelve (12) months.
“Active participation” includes involvement such as committee service, project leadership, or other meaningful contributions to the Society.
Demonstrate the ability to fulfill the duties of the position, including evidence of prior support and engagement with CLSI.
If nominated by someone else, provide written consent to be nominated.
No individual may be nominated without their consent.
Nomination Requirements
All nominations must include:
Candidate’s full name and address
Verify age 18 or over
Length of CLSI membership
Statement describing active participation in the Society
Written consent to serve if elected
Position for which the candidate is nominated
Resume or summary of qualifications
Submission Instructions
Nominations must be submitted via email to: elections@clanlogansociety.org
Nomination Deadline
All nominations must be received no later than July 31, 2026.
Late or incomplete submissions may not be considered.
Election Timeline
July 31 – Nomination deadline
August 1–15 – Eligibility review by Elections Committee
By August 31 – Ballots distributed to membership
September 20 – Voting deadline
By October 15 – Results finalized and documented
October 31 – Results announced to membership
January 1 – Newly elected officers take office
Additional Information
Voting instructions will be distributed with ballots.
Each eligible Society member will have one vote in accordance with CLSI By-laws.
The Elections Committee is responsible for verifying eligibility and administering the election process.
Call to Serve
Service as an officer or director of CLSI is an opportunity to help guide the Society’s mission, preserve Clan heritage, and strengthen our community for future generations.
Members are encouraged to consider standing for office or nominating qualified individuals who reflect the values and traditions of Clan Logan Society International.
