When every ounce of energy Seems to have drained From spaces of the body Something else Must emerge. Like a cactus Blooming in the desert With the smallest rain. The body wants its fluids… Water the cells! Feed the tissues! Awaken the neurons Antennae to the stars! Creativity begins to surge Generating energy That had been forgotten. Yes, Life is possible!
How do you feel when you read this? Do you know this state of exhaustion? In those moments, do you experience the return to creativity and life? I hope this poem can serve as a reminder!
