Cher Anderton · Could It Be Better?

Hey hey!

I gotta say… the last six months have been a wild, beautiful and exhausting ride. I’m navigating the profound shifts of divorce after an almost 30-year marriage while simultaneously launching four adult kids into the world. I’ve traded my office for airports, going anywhere from Thailand and Australia to Tennessee, Washington and South Africa. On stage, I’ve keynoted at the Lihn Law Symposium and taught workshops for the National Institute of Flamenco and Prevent Child Abuse AZ; in my office, I’ve sat with therapy clients as we navigate the heavy weight of individual and world experiences.

It’s a lot of layers, all stacked on top of each other, just like yours. And somehow, we’re living all of this while riding the AI bullet train. 🚄💨 It’s fast, efficient and changing everything. But here’s what I choose to believe: The faster the tech moves, the more we need to double down on developing our humanity. Because no algorithm can navigate the beautiful complexity of a life like ours.

You and I connected at some point because you value the human element too - the messy, imperfect, deeply relational work that makes life worth living. That’s exactly what we focus on here. Click through for some of my previous posts and see if you want to keep sticking around!

Train Yourself For The Unexpected

Please say hi every once in a while (I read every one!), or just settle in. Let’s figure out how to live, lead and parent with more heart in a world that’s rushing toward the artificial.

Here’s to us, and to staying wonderfully, stubbornly human.

With Love,

C.
