Temu... Why?

The phone wallet that can be found on Temu

Most of you folks I presume know about this online store known as Temu.

Non-stop, while I’m playing games on mobile phone, there are ads that pop up for Temu products…

Today was of a phone case that also had a wallet attachment where you can have your phone and wallet put together.

Okay.

SO…

You’re telling me that we forget our phones, we have no wallet, right?

Our phone gets stolen, our wallet gets stolen.

Such a handy product, huh?

All your personal information, including debit and credit cards, gone. Identity stolen.

Tell me how is this product something of a good idea? I mean… really.

Sure, the idea was probably for good intentions for handiness, but it has its common sensical downfalls that can cause more trouble for us than good. And, trust me, nobody wants to lose their phone, and nobody wants to lose their wallet on top of that, while attached to the phone.

Another product I did notice in the past was one of a seating that was white and supposedly soft and fluffy and comfortable, while having an adjustable foot rest attached.

Okay, not too bad. But I’d rather test furniture, especially sitting luxuries, for myself in person at a local store instead, so I know the quality of the product, how it feels, how it looks, etc. I would be rather concerned more about the quality of the product instead of the cost of the product.

Heck, seems Temu’s branding message is shopping like a billionaire for a cheap price.

But… I’m not so easy to woo with a genius catch-phrase that would lure anybody who would expect such results of billionaire finery.

In today’s world, we can be easily fooled by A.I. ads of products, and when you purchase and have delivered the product to your home, it is nothing as you saw on the ad. And it’s also not just A.I. Sometimes, the marketing ploy is really to manipulate the idea of what the actual product is by making it seem and appear more than what it really truly is in person.

How do these businesses get away with that?

It’s been going on for a long time. It’s why it’s very questionable for some people, including myself, to purchase from the internet, because you’ll never know what you’re really getting unless you really know what you’re getting.

Reviews are handy for a reason. To know from other customers what the product really is, how it really is, and if it is really worth the buy.

But what I found out about Temu is very sketchy when it comes to reviews.

They bury the negative feedbacks on the very bottom, so to hide them from customers who are looking for any negative aspects about the very product they are looking at. Since there can be up to thousands to tens of thousands and more reviews on products, if you’re seeing so many positive reviews, you think the product is fine and dandy to your own personal advantage whatever that may be.

Another thing faulty about Temu reviews is that there is no organization of reviews by their dates. So you’ll never know when those reviews were made, if it was old or recently made.

Even more, reviews are written too soon before the product is really tested out by the customer, due to the fact that the customer earns site credit or rewards for doing so.

Of course… A reward system for reviewing products before you even get to actually use them?

What kind of a reward system is that???

At least with Amazon you get the ‘purchase items up to a total of $35 and more’ deal for free delivery. Now that’s a fantastic deal because, who wants to spend on delivery? Or, you getting a holiday special deal of a free month of Amazon Prime. Now that’s awesome too.

And you don’t get to write a review, unless you’ve spent a certain amount of money in a year with a valid credit or debit card. And that spending total is at least $50. I like this because that means that not everyone can write trash reviews for the actual good items/products for purchase, and leaving good ones for the very bad ones. It also stops any bots from causing any chaos to ruin the potential of highly good and recommended brands and products far and wide on the shopping site.

But Temu, as everyone must know, is a Chinese-run shopping site. This doesn’t surprise me as they are very much taking advantage of people worldwide for cheap products to be sold at a cheap cost, only to woo their customers that they are shopping such items and products that billionaires own and dream of.

Now, I’m not saying that all Chinese businesses are manipulative. I’m sure there are some legit ones out there that really really care about how their business represents the world and their customers, and how loyalty to quality over quantity is beneficial to their reputation and monetary gains.

But Temu is for cheap, not quality. Only to gain more through quantity at agreeable low prices to the consumer.

This is why we have to be very careful with our purchasing whereabouts online. You’ll never know what you’re going to get. You can go on YouTube or any other social media platform, and discover people who actually and boldy reveal the dark truth concerning Temu and other shopping sites too, in which the product wasn’t at all what was shown and represented on the sites prior to purchase.

As much as it is easier to purchase online, so you don’t have to make a drive to the store, restaurant, etc. it is something that scam-artists have really utilized to rip you off of your own money. It’s a crazy sick world out there, especially in the online shopping world.
