Killshot (slowed + reverb) A MASTERPIECE

Okay,

Yesterday I wrote an article here about synthwave and vaporwave, and I never mentioned something in that article that meant so much to me.

What I missed was a song that I initially heard on a YouTube short based on the relationship of Blitz and Stolas of the hit web-series by VivziePop called, Helluva Boss.

It got me hooked ever since. I heard and I immediately went on a search for it. I had to have it in my playlists. ASAP!!!

It became the most addictive song in my head. A song that I can listen to every day, on repeat for a good hour or so, and never get bored.

The song has such slow-beat seductive dance vibes that are so deep, so addicting, that I fail to get enough of it.

This song, was Killshot (slowed + reverb), by Magdalena Bay.

Now, first off, I had no idea that this wasn’t the original version of the song. This was my first intro to the song, and it hooked me like a drug I couldn’t get enough of… in the musical sense of course.

When I went to check out the original speed of the song, how it came out initially, I wasn’t much into it as I was when it was slowed and reverbed. The slowed and reverbed triumphs over the original release, in my opinion, and I’m sure many agree to that statement.

The original is more uppity, very much catchy in its own way, but the slowed + reverb, to me, enhances all the elements of the song, deeply emphasizing the beats, the music… everything. It made me I was alone in my room, or with someone with me to watch me, as I dance in the most seductive entranced way imaginable.

A private party.

A moment where the sexual flame is so impossible to ignore, and you become so entranced by such drenching vibes of sexuality and lust that you can’t seem to ever break free, no matter how hard you try.

Even after the song ends, you feel this inner-sensation lingering, and it becomes increasingly difficult not to hear it play over and over again in your head like a record player going on in repetition.

The song guides you to sensations you can feel only to yourself… or enhancing what you have for another.

It’s a song that expresses sexual lust unlike no other, in my opinion.

And it deeply inspired me to write the lyrics to one of my songs, Sweetest Hottest Love Shot, which few loyal listeners of my music have told me that the vibes of that song remind them of that of the music of Grimes.

Although my song isn’t as drenching with incredible sexual energy like that of Killshot (slowed + reverbed), it does still indeed capture the dancey catchy vibe that brings about the intimate sexual aspects to life within the song.

If you haven’t heard Killshot (slowed + reverbed), you’re missing out. I always enjoy reading the comments below the official audio music video on YouTube, especially when one fellow said he went into listening to the song for the first time thinking he wouldn’t be addicted… 3 years later after release, he’s still listening it.

That comment was 2 years ago, and the song was released 5 years ago. Crazy how 3 years of listening to a song that just sticks with you, and still becomes your go-to song even after that.

That shows you that a song is multi-platinum when you get so many people hooked to it for so many years, and they can never get enough. And that’s all really true about this song.

I found this magical hit… heck… I don’t know… December?

Almost every day, I’m listening to it.

This song is something more than just a hit that makes you want to dance and appreciate. It is pure seduction to the cutting edge of the word.
