"We don’t know” the most powerful words in education. This week: redesigning learning to develop human capability, rethinking NAPLAN, AI in education, autonomous learners, creative thinking, and some absolutely splendid ideas.
AI shouldn’t replace a learner’s thinking. AI should provoke it. The person asking the questions isn’t the one learning. The person doing the thinking is.

AI doesn’t replace creativity. It multiplies it, when learning is built around curiosity, thinking and imagination, not shortcuts.

I know that storytelling is such an important skill. The ability to express oneself creatively, is critical in all aspects of life. Through storytelling I can entertain kids, feed their minds and give them some useful tools packaged around something I am passionate about.
