My September highlight was being in conversation with Elizabeth George - yes, THE Elizabeth George at Bookshop West Portal! She’s funny, generous, a storyteller and an amazing writer. Years ago when I took her writing workshop she said ‘People encourage you to write what you know, but I encourage you to write what you’re passionate about’ . Taking her words to heart, I took the leap to write what I felt passionate about - Paris.
