Bonjour from Paris!
Today it’s all about the changing autumn leaves, the brisk November air and hum from the cafes. Doing a quick research trip before Huguette’s book launch.
First stop today was the incredible Cathedral of Saint Alexandre-Nevsky. It’s Russian Orthodox and by chance we witnessed a baptism with wafting incense, candle wax and a baby’s cry when s/he was baptized.
Followed by lunch at Mariage Frères with my Fabèrge egg - hint…it’s in the next book.
Or is it a Fauxbèrge?
Wall of Mariage Frères teas!
Look at the blue bits of sky as we passed l’arc de Triomphe!
Then crossed the Pont de l’Alma
En route we saw this blue Microlino -
To another Russian church with a Russian theatre scene exhibition from pre and post Bolshevik revolution.
More photos and news from Paris soon.
So excited to share Huguette’s book tour. It’s just a month away!
Hope to see you!
Meanwhile merci for reading and bises from Paris!
