Canadian Branchline · Canadian Branchline

But since a lot of my content (especially the book-length Gravenhurst series) is something designed to be read sequentially (or referred back to), I want to tell you the easy way to browse and consume the dozens (soon to be hundreds) of posts at your leisure.

Before getting into the instructions for reading posts, bear in mind there are:

  • free posts available to everyone

  • paid posts only available to paid (yearly or monthly) subscribers

Note, a portion of every paid post available to free subscribers (as a “teaser”).

Bearing the two kinds of posts in mind…

If you ever want to read my posts directly on the Internet (instead of just by email), you can do so in two easy ways.

  • Go to www.substack.com

  • Click “Sign in” at the top right.

  • Enter your email address (the one you use for my newsletter, i.e. email newsletter that you receive from me in the form of posts).

  • Check your email for a link or code from Substack, and follow the instructions to log in.

  • Once logged in, you can find all my posts by searching for “Canadian Branchline” or by visiting canadianbranchline.substack.com.

  • Download the “Substack” app from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android).

  • Open the app and enter your email address.

  • Check your email for a link or code, and follow the instructions.

  • Once inside, you’ll see my posts and can read them anytime.

If you have any trouble, reply to this email and I’ll help you out.

Back with our regular programming, as they say, we’ll dive into the fascinating background of Toronto–Timmins trains 46 and 47.

As usual, please spread this email far and wide by forwarding it to a friend or two who share your interest in Canadian National Railways steam operations in Ontario.
